Buzzit is the local marketplace for UC Davis students and the Davis community. Sell what you no longer need, offer a service you are good at, or post a request for something you are looking for, and deal directly with people nearby. BROWSE WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT Home, search, listings and the Requests board are open to read. Sign in only when you want to save, reserve, message or post. TWO WAYS IN UC Davis students sign in with their university email. People who live in the Davis area join with a phone number and a Davis-area ZIP code, and confirm they are 18 or older. There is no password either way: we send a one-time code, and that is the whole sign-in. KNOW WHO YOU ARE DEALING WITH Every person shows a Student, Community or Team badge. A badge says only how someone joined. Students can keep a listing or request for students only, and can choose to see only what students posted. LISTINGS AND SERVICES Post items or services with photos, a price and a meet-up spot, or give something away for free. Buyers reserve, you confirm, and you settle between yourselves. Buzzit never takes payment and never charges a fee. REQUESTS Looking for something? Post a request and let people nearby reply. MESSAGES AND REVIEWS Chat inside the app to arrange a meet-up, then leave a review once an order is done. A SAFER LOCAL MARKETPLACE Every listing, request, review and message can be reported, and any person can be blocked. Sellers can add self-reported credentials to their profile; Buzzit does not verify them. PRIVACY No ads, no trackers, no location tracking. Photo location data is removed before upload. Read the full policy at legal.thebuzzitapp.com/privacy. ## Key features - Discover campus talent - Book services in seconds - In-app chat and coordination - Build your provider brand - Search and filter services - .edu verified users - 100% free to use ## Is Buzzit safe? Join with your phone number and ZIP code. - Every person now shows a Student, Community or Team badge. - Students can keep a listing or request for students only, and can filter to see only what students posted. - Seasonal collections, like a costume swap: trade, sell or give things away, with their own filter on Home and Requests. - Photos load faster and stay on your phone between visits. - A refreshed tab bar, and clearer meet-up times and places on your orders. ### 2.0.3 — 2026-10-01 A fix for signing in with an email that is new to this version of Buzzit. - Tap "I already have one" with an email that has no profile here yet, and the app now says so and walks you through setting one up. - Backing out of that setup no longer drops you on a screen where every button starts it again. ### 2.0.2 — 2026-10-01 Fixes from our first week on the App Store. - Remove any photo from a listing, not just the last one. - Tap your picture in Edit profile to change it. - Listing pages close without the neighbours flying across the screen. - Profile tabs line up their empty states. - No more blank screens between sign-up steps. ### 2.0.1 — 2026-09-29 Small fixes and polish. - Browse stays put while you scroll. New listings wait until you're back at the top. - Requests load into place without shifting the page. - Sign-in shows a spinner while it works, and you can paste your code. - Saved hearts and reply reactions behave. - Older builds get a heads-up when it's time to update. ### 2.0.0 — 2026-09-29 Complete UI overhaul and the introduction of Requests! Can't find what you are looking for? Post a request and others can respond, recommend, or tag on if they need it too. ## Apps similar to Buzzit | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [DaanX](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/daanx/id6766019841) | 5.0 (2) | Free | Lifestyle | | [Equip: Independence Companion](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/equip-independence-companion/id1610450289) | 4.5 (15) | Free | Lifestyle | | [The Artist Tree](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/the-artist-tree/id6450797875) | 1.9 (34) | Free | Lifestyle | | [Sircles](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/sircles/id1213538655) | 4.7 (926) | Free | Lifestyle | | [Teaspoon Rewards](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/teaspoon-rewards/id1529792595) | 4.8 (5,814) | Free | Lifestyle | | [TAP - The Apartment Plug](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/tap-the-apartment-plug/id6755409503) | 2.8 (58) | Free | Lifestyle | ## Related topics [buzzit](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/buzzit) · [student marketplace](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/student-marketplace) · [snap on student](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/snap-on-student) --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
