The tools are also easy to use and provide helpful data to subscribers. All high-quality parts of the business model. But in 2025 the company unexpectedly hiked pricing tiers in alienating ways. Not nominal, slight hikes. The change from 6 hours for approx $18/month to a 4th hour for the same price does not reward independent podcasters. There is now a lack of clarity on the penalty for overage by +1 minute or more. A lot of low-quality changes that were not properly communicated to users in advance.
