You are required to input your own spelling words into lists, which is great because then I can use words that my child is working on in school. The problem is, you take the time to enter the words, and when your child goes to use the app, the app says no spelling lists found. Arghhhhh. Buzzy Bee Spelling ### 3/5 — Homophones ? *2023-07-18, version 1.0* My 6 year old son really struggles with homophones, such as ‘which’ and ‘witch’. As a teacher, I know that this is a very common area of difficulty, yet this app does not have the capacity to tell this. A shame! ### 3/5 — Computer voice ruins it *2023-06-04* I’m looking for an app to help my kids practice spelling over the summer and this was one of the first to come up. I downloaded and tested it myself. I love that you can upload lists and the games are excellent! I like the idea of the app but I do see three things that would be great improvements: 1. Most importantly, the computer voice that reads in the app is awful. I missed a two words on the list I uploaded because enunciation is not good. 2. Related - on spelling practice, it would be helpful to have the option for a definition. One of my kids had a homophone list this past year. 3. It would be nice if there were some lists already available.
