I’ve lived in this city for 10 years with an app that remained relatively unchanged in its interface and concept, which wasn’t great, but it got the job done. Now it’s almost completely unusable. Es ist toll, dass ihr mit der Zeit geht und neue Funktionen in die App einbauen wollt. Warum macht ihr es aber so viel umständlicher mit der App das zu tun, was die meisten machen? (Fahrbare!) Verbindungen suchen… In der Vorgängerversion konnte ich ganz einfach mit einem Klick meine meist-gefahrenen Verbindungen sehen, diese anklicken und ich hatte einen guten Überblick, welche Verbindungen ich nehmen will. Jetzt muss ich umständlich erst meinen Zielort eingeben, dann korrigieren von wo ich fahren möchte. Das was dort raus kommt, ist auch nicht mehr sinnvoll. Der direkte Anschluss den es zum Beispiel in Wuhletal gibt, erkennt die App gar nicht, obwohl die Zeiten so eingetragen sind. Das bedeutet die App schlägt einem andere Wege vor, die vermeintlich schneller wären. Angesehen davon kommt es, wenn ich mir in den vorgeschlagenen Verbindungen die Abfahrtszeiten eines Umsteigepunkts ansehe, manchmal zu Fehlern, wo er sagt „die aktuelle Position stimmt nicht“ und ohne die App zu beenden komme ich gar nicht zurück zu meinen verbindungsvorschlägen. Die neue Version ist für mich so nicht mehr nutzbar. Selbst Google hat da ne bessere Übersicht. Trotzdem danke für euren Versuch. Die Abfahrtszeiten sind das, worauf ich mich bei der vorherigen Version von BVG Fahrinfo verlassen habe, und das war großartig. Geben Sie den Namen einer Haltestelle ein, und wie von Zauberhand erscheint eine Liste mit aktuellen Zeiten und Informationen zu allen Aktivitäten an der Haltestelle. BONUS: BVG Fahrinfo merkt sich Ihre Suchanfragen und speichert die Liste, so dass Sie in Zukunft noch schneller suchen können! Diese Funktionalität wurde kurzerhand und ohne Vorwarnung durch ein komplettes und schlecht durchdachtes Programm ersetzt. Um die neue BVG Fahrinfo-App nutzen zu können, MÜSSEN die Location Services von Apple aktiviert sein, was ich aus Sicherheits- und Datenschutzgründen NIE tue. Anstatt den Namen einer Haltestelle eingeben zu können, muss man nun durch eine animierte Karte navigieren und die gewünschte Haltestelle antippen!!! Diese dumme Idee basiert auf der Vorstellung, dass ich weiß, wo ich mich auf der Karte befinde (natürlich würden mir die Apple Location Services das anzeigen, aber ich weigere mich, meinen Standort im Internet zu verbreiten). Vergessen wir nicht, dass der Versuch, eine abstrakte Karte mit Hunderten von winzigen Symbolen auf einem kleinen Smartphone-Bildschirm im hellen Sonnenlicht zu sehen, ein Witz ist und keine funktionale App. Und es kommt noch schlimmer: Wenn man in der neuen App auf einen Ort tippt, um Abfahrtsinformationen zu erhalten, Sie müssen einen Zielort eingeben, was eine weitere Verzögerung beim Versuch darstellt, einen zuvor schnellen und einfachen Informationsvorgang abzuschließen. Das Schlimmste: Das BVG hat meine Zielliste und alle anderen Daten gelöscht. Ohne Vorwarnung. Vorbei. Die BVG-Grafiken mit dem Herzsymbol auf Bussen und Bahnen wirken wie eine Lüge. Der BVG sind ihre Fahrgäste völlig egal. Die Löschung all unserer Daten und das Abwerfen dieser nutzlosen neuen App wie eine Bombe ohne Vorwarnung ist ein krasser Beweis dafür, wie sehr sich die BVG um uns schert. An die BVG: Wenn Ihnen etwas daran liegt, dann beweisen Sie es, indem Sie die frühere Sensibilität für Design und Benutzerfreundlichkeit auf die nächste Iteration der App übertragen, die animierte Karte optional machen und es den Reisenden ermöglichen, schnell und einfach Informationen zu erhalten, ohne dass wir sensible Funktionen von iOS, insbesondere die Location Services, aktivieren müssen. Ich danke Ihnen. ****ENGLISH**** A powerful, easy to use tool has been transformed into an oversimplified, non-intuitive steaming pile of bovine scatology. Departure times are what I relied on from the previous version of BVG Fahrinfo, and it was great. Type in a Haltestelle name and magically a list of live times and info for all activities at the Haltestelle would appear. BONUS: BVG Fahrinfo would remember your searches and save a list making future searches even faster! That functionality was unceremoniously, and without warning, replaced by a complete and ill thought out program. In order to use the new BVG Fahrinfo app Apple’s Location Services MUST be turned on, something I NEVER turn on for security and privacy purposes. Rather than being able to type the name of a Haltestelle, you now are required to navigate an animated map and touch the desired Haltestelle!!! This stupid idea is based on the notion that I know where I am on the map (of course Apple Location Services would show me, but I refuse to broadcast my location across the internet ). Let’s not forget that trying to see an abstract map with hundreds of tiny icons on a small smart phone screen in bright sunlight is a joke, and not a functional app. Insult upon injury: in the new app when touch a location to get departure information, you are required to enter a destination, which is one more delay in trying to complete an info transaction that previously fast and easy. Worst of all: the BVG deleted my list of destinations and all other my other data. No warning. Gone. Those BVG graphic designs with a heart icon seen on buses and trains seem like a lie. The BVG couldn’t care less about its passengers. Wiping out all of our data and dropping this useless new app on us like a bomb without warning is glaring evidence of how much the BVG cares about us. To the BVG: If you do care, prove it by applying the previous sensibility of design and ease of use to the next iteration of the app, make the animated map optional, and allow travelers to get information quickly and easily without requiring us to activate sensitive features of iOS, specifically Location Services. Who designed this monster? *2024-09-04, version 8.1.3* An absolutely unusable app. Half of it not translated, not clear at all what ticket you’re busy, what zone is it for, the ticket purchase flow is the most confusing flow I’ve experienced in the last 2y. Wenn man die App öfter benutzt geht’s aber relativ flott. Klare Schwachstellen: 1. Die App zeigt nicht immer die schnellste Strecke. Sie zeigt stattdessen an, dass man umsteigen soll, obwohl die direkte Fahrt genauso schnell oder sogar etwas schneller wäre (M12, M1) Aber auch bei anderen Fahrten - vor allem, wenn ein Fußweg über 7 aber noch unter 10 Minuten nötig ist, um die nächstgelegene S-Bahn-Station zu erreichen. 2. Eine abgelaufene 24-Stunden-Karte wird über den Gültigkeitszeitraum hinaus als aktiv angezeigt. Mein gekauftes Ticket wurde erst nach 24 Stunden und 25 Minuten nicht mehr bei den aktiven Tickets angezeigt. October 2025 Update: Hey, thank you for your feedback. You can customise your connection search by using the filter settings (filter symbole). You can add intermediate stops or select which means of transportation you would like to use, for example. As for the departure times: On the start screen you have the large map of the surrounding area with all the stops and lines in the proximity. If you now click on a nearby stop, a pop-up will open with the lines that depart from this stop. You can drag this upwards. Alternatively, you can click on the icon at the front of the list of recently searched or saved stops to open the same view. ### 1/5 — Amateurs!!! *2025-10-03, version iOS 8.10.0* Can’t change „from“ location while in transit! Eine Funktion fehlt mir: Auf meinem Weg zur Arbeit und zurück nutze ich immer die gleiche Verbindung, jedoch fahren dort sowohl Regios als auch S-Bahnen. Da ich mich nicht immer zur gleichen Zeit auf den Heimweg machen kann, gebe ich immer wieder die gleiche Verbindung mit Ziel und Start ein. Hier ist die Schnellauswahl zwar hilfreich, doch wäre es noch viel erleichternder, wenn ich Verbindung direkt auswählen könnte. Also dass unter den „Favoriten“ nicht nur Ziel-Haltestellen, sondern ganze Verbindungen vermerkt werden können. So könnte ich die App einfach öffnen, die Verbindung direkt auswählen und sehen, ob es Verspätungen / Zugausfälle etc. gibt. Ich fahre häufig mit dem Fahrrad zum Bahnhof, sodass mir die Funktion, nach Auswahl meiner Zielhaltestelle direkt eine Verbindung von meinem aktuellen Standort aus angezeigt zu bekommen, nicht viel hilft. App öffnen Auf "Wohin möchtest du?" klicken nun auf den Reiter Verbindungen (direkt neben Orte) klicken Hier werden die letzten 25 Verbindungen aufgelistet. Diese können auch als Favorit (Herz) nach oben geschoben werden. Oder, bereits in der Übersicht der Verbindungen, oben rechts auf das Herz klicken Für bestimmte Verbindungen kann auch der Pendler-Alarm genutzt werde: 1. eine Verbindung auswählen 2. hier in der Detailansicht wechseln (es wird der Linienverlauf der Verbindung angezeigt). Hier auf das Herz rechts klicken 3. Es öffnet sich eine neue Seite. 4. Hier auf Pendler klicken und die Tage sowie Uhrzeit auswählen, an der alle Verbindungen zwischen Start und Ziel "Überwacht" werden soll. In diesem Fall werden alle möglichen Verbindungen zwischen den Start und Ziel zu den gegebenen Tagen und Zeitfenster hinsichtlich Störungen und Verspätungen überwacht. Ihr die psychopatischen Fahrer die einen erst zum Bus rennen lassen, um dann mit aufgerissenen Augen einen direkt ins Gesicht lächeln, wenn sie beim Erreichen genüsslich die Tür vor der Nase schließen. Extrapunkte scheint es bei diesem Betriebsritual zu geben, wenn das Gesicht des Fahrgastes sich dabei noch an die Tür quetscht, da er noch im Lauf ist. Nur gibt es da diese Ausnahmen, vermutlich die Neuen mit den unterhalb bezahlten Gehältern, den gekürzten Urlaub, dem gestrichenem 13. sowie keiner Betriebsrente mehr, also die mit den Neuverträgen. Ich bin vor 52 Jahren in Berlin geboren und die waren schon immer Pleite. Nicht ein Jahr mit schwarzen Zahlen. Das muss man erst mal schaffen.
