## What is BWI Inventory?

BWI Customer Inventory is the inventory management app built exclusively 
for BWI customers in the pest control industry. Whether you're a 
technician in the field or a manager running operations, BWI Customer 
Inventory keeps your supplies organized and your team ready.

BWI Customer Inventory is available exclusively to BWI customers. You can setup an account with the app, but you will need to use the app to contact a BWI account representative to get your organizations products imported and fully set up for inventory management.


## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.1 — 2026-08-06

- Managers page now shows only that manager's inventory. Opening a manager from the Managers tab shows the on-hand value and warehouses that manager actually oversees, instead of the whole company. Company-wide inventory is still on the home screen and the on-shelf report.
- Printable pull list for technician requests. One button prints the submitted requests as a line-by-line pick list — tick boxes, item numbers, quantities and which warehouse to pull from — plus a combined totals page so the same product across several requests is pulled once. Designed to be carried to the chem room.
- Managers can turn on truck inventory themselves. Previously an admin-only setting, which blocked single-branch customers who never see the admin level.
- Dollar values on technician requests. Each request shows its total cost in the list and per-item costs when opened. Visible to managers always, and to technicians only if the company has enabled pricing for techs.
- Stock can now be transferred from a truck back to a warehouse. The transfer screen previously offered only other trucks.
- Item cost on every order line. Each ordered product shows its extended cost and unit price; order totals are more accurate for products priced only by the purchase unit.
- New: receiving against an order. Managers record what actually arrived — "Receive All" for a complete delivery, or quantity by quantity. Anything short stays outstanding and the order remains open as backordered until the rest arrives, then closes automatically.
- Received stock updates inventory automatically, in the right units. The app converts purchase units to stocked units — receiving 4 pails of rodent bait adds 72 pounds on the shelf. The conversion is confirmed once per product and remembered from then on.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-07-28

Inventory catalog is redesigned to fit more products on screen, grouped by warehouse, with color-coded quantities that make low and out-of-stock items obvious at a glance.
New filter for low-stock and out-of-stock products, plus a wider search bar with filters built in.
Managers can now void a replenishment order from the Orders screen. Voided orders are excluded from all reports and exports.
Fixed an error that could appear when returning to the app after it had been in the background.
Managers can swipe to edit or delete a product in the catalog.
Add search to import products screen.
Added 2 ways for a user to deduct inventory from their truck. As you go, and "count my truck" to true up.

Bug Fixes:
Fixed a bug on the requests page that would cause it to crash sometimes. 
Fixed a bug where if you turned off truck level inventory using an admin account, it still showed the trucks filter on the inventory page.
Fixed a bug with accepting invites.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-07-02

Emails for replenishment request, frequency change, technician invite, manager invite, and the activation request now send through mailgun. Emails now also contain the customer number.
