By Two is a coffee journal for people who weigh their dose. Log the bag. Dial in the recipe. Record every brew against the machine and grinder you made it on, then make the same cup again tomorrow with one tap. TODAY A shelf of the bags you're on. Swipe to the one in the hopper, see the numbers from your last cup, and repeat it — or nudge the grind and log the change. EVERY BREW, EVERY NUMBER Dose, yield, ratio, grind, water temperature and total time. Pre-infusion for espresso. Bloom, pour stages and filter for pour over. Steep, drain and inverted for immersion. Espresso, V60, Kalita Wave, Chemex, AeroPress, French press and Clever Dripper. REVIEW IT WHILE YOU CAN STILL TASTE IT Rate the cup, tag the flavours, and leave yourself a "next time, change" note. Rebuilt for iOS 27. ### 1.4 — 2026-06-04 • Origins map now groups nearby countries into a single pin when zoomed out — tap to zoom in and split them apart. • New summary card on the Origins map showing your top origin, total origins, and beans. • Tapping an origin now opens a full page of that country's beans. • The widget now shows an "Add a new bag" button when you have no current coffee. • Changing a flavour note's category now updates the list straight away. • Fixed the Flavours view sometimes opening in the wrong layout on first launch. • Spacing and polish fixes throughout. ### 1.3.1 — 2026-05-31 • Country picker now puts your most-used origins up top, with the full list below. • Bag photos look consistent everywhere – trimmed and centred across lists, detail pages, and shared cards. • Photos added from your library no longer get cropped. • Redesigned About page and a refreshed By Two mark on shared images. • Fixed the "Rate by two" button in Settings. • Spacing and polish fixes throughout. ### 1.3 — 2026-05-15 • Pour-over recipes, rebuilt — log multi-step brews (Bloom, Pour, Wait, Stir) with cumulative water and per-step timing. • Brew cards now show your actual brewer — Origami, V60, Aeropress — instead of a generic method label. • New large home-screen widget with a hero photo of your current bag. • "Caramel" flavour category is now Sweet — a better home for honey, brown sugar, and caramel. Existing notes migrate automatically. • Quick shortcut to the SCA Flavor Wheel from Flavour Notes. • Smarter tag handling — "Black Tea" and "black tea" no longer pile up as separate notes. • Cancel button while scanning a bag, plus a safety net if OCR stalls. • Refreshed About screen and polish across Add/Edit forms. ### 1.2.2 — 2026-04-23 Small polish. • Brand icons for Instagram, Threads, and Email in Settings. • A tidier confirmation after a tip.
