I used Flighty for about a year, but I eventually realised it wasn’t going to work for me. So I started looking for other flight trackers and discovered byAir. It has many of the features I loved about Flighty, but they’re available for free! You can also save your flight history directly to your phone. I’d definitely recommend byAir to anyone looking for a great flight tracker, especially if you’re an aviation geek! ✈️ Definitely one of the best flight-tracking apps out there! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ### 5/5 — Better than Flighty *2026-08-23, version 2.38.5* Excellent app, I had an emergency flight which the app quickly picked up. As a training pilot, it’s so nice to have a redundancy for my log, and it’s super nice to have stats available for those. I wish the lifetime subscription didn’t increase in price so drastically recently, but that is my only gripe. Another feature I’d love to see is the flight map on the “upcoming flights” section like on Flightly, but even without it, I’m a happy camper ### 5/5 — Great app for regular flyers. *2026-07-18, version 2.37.3* I've been looking for a replacement for the late lamented App In The Air app and byAir is the best I've found. Used it a couple of times now and it's pretty good at showing everything you want to know about your forthcoming flight, getting through the airport and relevant flight info. Unlike some competitors it actually shows you time to check-in, boarding etc and gives you warnings if you're running late. Support pretty good so far too.
