## What is Bygone?

Bygone is social photo-sharing without the doom scrolling

Your feed is the people you actually follow, newest to oldest.
That's it. No algorithm guessing what'll keep you scrolling endlessly. No "suggested for you." No random strangers shoved between your friends. Just the posts from the people you follow, in the order they posted them.

And when you've seen everything new, Bygone tells you: "You're all caught up!" Then you close the app and go do something. No bottomless feed engineered to keep you stuck. It ends on purpose.

HOW IT WORKS

Follow your friends. Their posts show up newest first.
Catch up on what's new, in order.
Hit the end, see "you're all caught up," put your phone down.
SQUARE PHOTOS, REAL FILTERS
Bygone is photos and videos — clean 1:1 squares. Shoot or pick a photo, dial in a filter with a live preview, and post. The filters make your shots look good, not turn you into content.

QUIET BY DESIGN

No algorithm in your feed. Ever. Chronological or nothing.
No infinite scroll. The feed stops when you're caught up.

WANT TO EXPLORE?
There's exactly one place to look beyond your circle: "Nearby" grid. It's not personalized to you, and it lives behind a tab you open on purpose — never pushed into your feed. Look when you feel like it. Ignore it when you don't.

ALSO IN THE BOX
Private 1:1 messages with people you follow.
Push notifications for what actually matters.
Your data, your call: export it or delete your account anytime. Deletes get a 30-day grace period, then they're gone for good.

UPGRADE BYGONE
BygoneBasic is free and has a cap of 50 follows and 30 followers; perfect for someone who just wants to keep up with close friends and family.
Upgrade to Bygone for $3.99/month or $34.99/year and removes follow/follower caps and removes ads — for people with larger circles and who'd rather pay than become the product. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.
