I've always loved Byline because it seems about the only reader app with full offline reading of cached webpages. This new version looks sleek, but I can't tell if all my articles are downloaded (the old version had a progress indicator telling you how many were done and I just can't find it here).

As someone else mentioned, it keeps wanting to paste from the clipboard when opening, which seems suspicious…

Byline looks very nice. But unfortunately I’m unable to sign in. 

I’m trying to sign in via my Google account.  I enter my email address, but then get an error message:

> Couldn’t sign you in
> This browser or app may not be secure

I’m not sure if this is a problem with my account or with Byline. I hope it will be resolved soon so I can try the app.

I feel that swipe sensitivity become low in the latest version of iOS. It is not comfortable to switch next/previous article with swipe. I hope this would be fixed. Thanks.

Sad they have not updated this in a few years one of the best Feedly clients out there really wish they would updated with stuff like Dark mode, bug fixes, widgets and more but for right now I am just glad it still works hints the 3 stars!

iosアップデートのせいだと思いますが、いつからかGoogleアカウントでサインインできなくなりました。左右スワイプの感度も悪くなっています。

デザインがよく使いやすいので長年愛用していますが、少し前から左右のスワイプが非常にやりにくくなってしまいました。
軽いタッチのスワイプでは反応しません。
使い勝手が悪くなってしまったので、このまま改善がされないようであれば他のアプリへの乗り換えも考えます。
早急な改善を希望します。

iOS13.4.1にバージョンアップしたらスワイプの感度が悪くなりました。強く押さえながらスワイプしないと画面スワイプできません。
更にfeedlyと連携サインインしようとすると異常終了します。
対応よろしくお願いします。

RSS Reader と比較の上、結局こちらを使っています。どちらも無料のままで十分な機能です。こちらには（RSS Readerでは可能な）フィードの上下の順番を編集できたら嬉しいですね。読む優先順位もつけたいので。

軽くて使いやすい。
前バージョンから使ってる為割引価格だったから良かったけど、定価だと少し値段が高いかな。

キャッシュがどこまで終わったのか分かり辛いのが一番悪い所。
※設定のキャッシュの項目を見ればわかるが設定をわざわざ開くのは面倒

Every time I open the app it attempts to paste whatever is in my clipboard into the app. Why does it do this? Is it just a glitch? Or is it an attempt to steal private information that I might have copied to the clipboard? I don’t know, but it seems not good!

Also, I could not find any way to send feedback on this issue, either through the app, or on their website, so I guess you get a one star review instead! 🤷‍♂️

軽くて使いやすいですが、プライバシーを盗み見しているのは気になります。アプリを立ち上げるたびに、その時のコピーパッドを読み込んでいます。どうして？

新しいiOSになってからアプリへのペーストは通知されるようになりましたが、Bylineは勝手に開くたびにペースト通知がきます。
アプリの特性上こちらのコピーを把握する必要はないはずなので、セキュリティ面で信用なりません。

長年使っているので今更乗り換えるのも億劫なので気をつけながら使い続けますが、これから使おうと検討されている方は改善されない限りは他のアプリを検討された方がいいと思います。

iOS14にアップデートしたところ、起動するたびに「Bylineにペースト」警告がでます。
これはつまり、このアプリは常に私たちのクリップボードを監視しているということです。

悪意なしにこのような実装をすることはありません。

コピペをした状態でこのアプリを使うと内容を盗られてしまうので、即刻使用をやめるべきです。

It a tragedy the developer abandoned this app because even with years of neglect it is still at the top of the list for quality readers. I’m glad it’s at least still in the App Store. 

Hopefully they will give it some love at some point.

This is a fantastic app for grabbing RSS feeds at home before sitting on the Tube to read into work. No need for internet access underground as everything is already cached on my phone. Have used this for years on iOS after searching for something similar that I used to use on a Palm Pilot many moons ago (iSilo). Thanks to the developer for making this great tool and I hope Milo continues to keep it updated for new iOS versions and devices. The web site and Twitter feeds look worryingly abandoned... :-(

I've been using Byline since the original version. I use it so I can read my Feedly feeds offline while on the subway or plane and this app is perfect in both of those situations. It's even better on the iPad than on the phone even though the phone is good too. Given how much I use it, it's more than worth the cost.

My favorite thing about this reader is the ability to navigate a large list of articles by swiping left and right. This update finally modernized one my my all time iOS apps for iPhone X. Thanks phantom fish!

Great! Just wish I could expand groups to see the list of sites within them, rather than having to have either one huge grouping of everything in a group into one feed, or a long and unwieldy list of feed names that aren't always meaningful on their own. The previous way it worked was a thousand times better.

Oh, and I just had to restore my phone - wouldn't work at all after that. Nothing appeared other than the toolbar (greyed out) and logo, and couldn't access any settings. So am forced to wipe and reinstall.

I've loved this app since its previous incarnation. The ability to quickly flick through headlines and the ease with which I can save full articles for later reading make this app invaluable. The new interface is easy on the eyes too. The only glitch I've found is the doubling of some headlines - not sure if this was due to app or source, but it didn't happen with the original Byline.

Seriously, where is the release date for 4, 3, 2? 

I have been using version 1 for years and I can't find any replacement for it. I just want a simple interface with offline cache feature. 

The new mark all as read is at a right spot. 

Didn't know the developer has released this until February... I wish I knew that earlier.

One of my most used apps, Byline is great for keeping up with whatever interests you. The UI is simple, offline caching works well, there are no gimmicks, just a great RSS reader. 

I've been using the previous version for many years, and it's great to have a new one with all the same features, but a more modern UI and iPhone 6 screen size support.
