Need to fix bugs *2026-08-17, version 5.2.0* Latest app update is bad. Can’t access tracking map and it asks you to rate the app in every action. Now its a labyrinth of upsells and too many options. Oh and I’m not able to update my email address? ### 1/5 — Horrible and inconvenient design. *2023-08-12, version 4.1.6* THE APP DESIGN IS INFURIATING. There is a help section where you can’t even ask a question, and it sends you back to the home page again and again. I wanted to know if I would be alerted when my pick up/ delivery was on its way so I didn’t have to wait in my apartment for the full three hours. But instead of being able to type this into a section I had to press one of their automated responses. I was never able to get an answer. I’d like to be able to ask questions and not have my questions be dictated by their robot system. Truly so upsetting to not be able to ask a single question I don’t think I will use the app again. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2023-07-03, version 4.1.6* When I tried to create an account, I received an error message that said I already have an account with my email address. So I tried to login with my email address and it said that I need to register first because it doesn’t recognize my email address. So I clicked the “forgot password” and it said the same thing. Email address not recognized. I tried over and over again with the same results. App does not work or it’s no linger being supported. ### 1/5 — Avoid *2023-06-07, version 4.1.5* Do not use this service. They reschedule deliveries excessively and have bad communication. Their automated customer service chat in the app is extremely frustrating and unhelpful. Not acceptable especially for such high pricing. ### 1/5 — Never comes on time *2023-06-05, version 4.1.5* I’ve been using this service for years but lately they have been careless with actually being on time. I was supposed to get my clothes Friday. It is Monday night and I still don’t have my clothes. App is constantly quitting and restarting. Save your money and time. No reimbursement. They sent texts every day delaying my delivery by a day until Wednesday (and still haven’t returned it). Every time I’ve spoken to them I’ve received non answers and have no idea if I’ll get my shirt back. Don’t waste your time with them. ### 2/5 — Not transparent pricing *2023-01-21, version 4.1.4* I’ve been using the app for over a year and it’s basically expensive laundry drop off. I typically pay $100 -$150 for every wash. The service had more expensive over time. I’ve asked if they can share the pricing sheet in the “help” section of the app, but they declined to share the prices (super sketchy). They hide their pricing in the app so I never know what my total until they charge me at the end. For the service to pricing you're honestly better off going with dropping off at your local laundromat. ### 1/5 — No service *2022-11-15, version 4.1.4* I don’t think this business is still around I have my items in a locker waiting to get picked up for about 2 weeks. I don’t recommend this app ### 1/5 — Items Ruined *2022-11-12, version 4.1.4* Beware: they WILL ruin your items and not offer any sort of reimbursement besides credit to have more of your items ruined. It’s an endless cycle and customer support is impossible to contact. I am not sure why I have continued using them as they are consistently late- twice my clothes were held hostage for 4/5 days. They will lie and not email any transcripts, and move slower than molasses through a pinhole to respond. You will need to follow up repeatedly, as if you are training a bad dog not to use the bathroom in the house. Even then, you will be lied to and given false promises without any action or attempt at providing the services you already paid for. ### 1/5 — Hasn’t worked since the newest update *2025-08-31, version 5.0.9* The app just doesn’t work. Be careful if you want to have your clothes back, it might not happen ### 1/5 — Do not use! *2024-06-25, version 4.1.6* I hate that I’m here writing this review but ByNext lost my entire bag of laundry and the customer service team has been unresponsive and keeps ending the chat or not responding to my emails. Other than a few delayed dry cleaning orders (mildly annoying but didn’t deter me) I have had a good experience until the past few days. I actually don’t know what to do because I don’t have my laundry bag and ByNext isn’t helping me find it. They just claim the driver dropped it off with my doorman though there is no record of that which I have noted repeatedly. The frustrating part is the lack of help from the customer service team. I have looked up and down for the bag, talked to doormen, looked at cctv footage and requested the other addresses on the drop off route so I can go look, but ByNext has not done anything. ### 1/5 — Somehow getting worse *2024-04-15, version 4.1.6* I am a long time user who initially had years of service with no problems or complaints. But in the last 6 months they have completely fallen apart. I’ve had glitches in the app that they are unable to resolve after numerous assurances that the problem is being escalated. I’ve had multiple orders rescheduled at the last minute with no ability to find out where my clothes are or when I would be able to receive them. Most recently, I’ve been overcharged for an order and they refuse to even give me a time frame on when I can expect to hear back from them about a refund. So unfortunately after 5 years of loyalty I’m done! It’s a bummer because they used to be a really great. ### 1/5 — No accountability *2023-12-21, version 4.1.6* They lost half of my laundered shirts. Only reimbursement they offer is 5x the cost to clean a shirt which comes out to $17. Absolutely a farce. Not sure which sweat shops they purchase their clothes from. Absolutely horrific customer service too. Mind you, this is how they treat a customer of 8 years. Multiple cheaper options out there - do not recommend. Also beware of fees, they are typically 50% of the cost to clean! Across 4 orders, they have lost my items 3 out of 4 times and can’t use them. They frequently deliver items to the wrong address, lose them completely, or ruin them. For the price, you’d expect it to be high touch premium service. They are not. Their services are reliable, dependable, and convenient. The app makes each pickup easily customizable or adjustable to our preferences. If plans change and we have a pickup or drop off scheduled, we can easily edit the dates and time at no additional fee. After multiple bags of laundry and some dry cleaning, their team has always done an excellent job in making sure all our items come back to us freshly folded and scot-free! Loyalty to their app also comes with enticing rewards that help offset the costs of pickup cleaning. We've compared price points among different services and have found Cleanly (ByNext) to be at par and competitive with what's on the market. However, a pivotal difference comes with the Reserve membership discount and their promo codes which can be earned each time you've spent a certain amount.
