## What is BYOT?

BYOT is a native client for OpenCode, the open-source coding agent. Connect to the OpenCode server running on your own computer and drive real coding sessions from your iPhone.

Browse your projects and sessions, send prompts, and watch the full turn stream in live: assistant text, reasoning, files, patches, and every tool call with its input, progress, output, and errors. Review session diffs, answer permission requests with allow once, always allow, or reject, and respond to questions with choices or custom text. Queue follow-up prompts while a turn is running and pick the model for each prompt from your server's own catalog.

BYOT is a client, not a service. There is no account and no sign-up. The app talks only to servers you configure, over HTTPS, and your server password lives in the iOS Keychain. Nothing is collected, nothing is tracked, and no code runs on your phone — your machine does the work, your phone drives it.

Requires an OpenCode server you operate (for example on your Mac) reachable over HTTPS, such as through Tailscale.
