I see they are back and I wish them well. I changed my location in the app to USA but it will still only give me prices in English pounds. One postcard is about three pounds, which is an utterly absurd price, but maybe postage in England is expensive. There is also some sort of credit system where credits correspond to pounds, but not to the cost of sending. It’s confusing and seems set up for you to always have lingering credits in your account. Based solely on the price, I will not be using this version of the app. And there seems to be no way for me to delete my account. After trying it out a few times, I ended up buying a bunch of credits (don’t remember exactly how many, maybe around 20 or so). As soon as I did this, a couple postcards took literal MONTHS to arrive and then most of them just never showed up. Suddenly, now about ten years later, I start getting emails from them about how they’re under new management, and when I asked their customer service if they’d be able to replace lost credits/credits that were used on cards that were never printed, they won’t do that, and they won’t even offer a sample card or two to prove that the service works. I wish I could completely delete my account so they stop using my personal info for their marketing. ### 1/5 — Glitchy rubbish *2024-02-10, version 6.1* I had 25 credits on this app before it disappeared/went bust/whatever. When it relaunched, they generously gave me 8 free credits. All OK, but can I use the app? Not at all! You get as far as the preview page and then cannot go further- I ended up drafting a postcard 4 times and then gave up. I had credit on the app but now it won’t let me login and the last few cards didn’t send. End result is I can’t contact the app support and I’ve lost money. Old company dissolved and new company with previous director in charge. Having lost money with the previous company I personally will avoid this one. Such a shame given how good the original was…. But failed promises blamed on others , no goods received and credit balance lost. October 2016 One would have to surmise that the activities of this company are very shady given their continued lack of delivery of goods. Having got concerns about my own outstanding orders and continued promises am horrified to see that there are similar issues across their range of products. If there was a button I could press to alert Apple then I would have pressed it. Would I invest one penny more in this company then 'NO' would be the answer. Such a shame as I really loved this company. Corporate suicide! August 2016 Currently this company does not send out cards. They blame technical issues which have been ongoing for months. I loved this app.... But feel I cannot continue to give them 5 stars while they are failing to deliver. Such a shame as they have been brilliant. But with only 4 cards received out of about 17 since July this isn't good enough. Once deliveries have been re-established I will be the first to want to update my review to 5 stars. We are still using this app after 1 1/2 years and it just keeps on getting better & better. We always get compliments from the receivers of the cards. Great quality & great price. Up to now we have had 100% success with our cards sent. We really like the fact the cards arrive before we return from our holidays. A truly great app for any traveller. The latest update includes templates for Xmas so you don't have to travel to find a use for this app. Cards get sent 1st class and at GBP 0.99 this offers extreme value for money! No more returning home to find your cards arrive just as your tan has almost gone. I have found the delivery of cards amazing. In almost every case they have arrived the day after placing the order. Just been on holiday and used the 'wish you were here themes' .... Just topped up on another 20 cards to get the discount. The recipients love the cards.... Great quality printing which fully illustrates the photos. Only negative is the ability not to buy extra credits within app... But very easy to do via web using PayPal or credit cards. Roll on next update... some updates later: Wow.... Seriously this app is 100% .... The borders get better & better and keep up to date with periodical events throughout the year. The odd 'bug' have been cleared as a result of great interaction between customer & developer. Price spot on & really fast delivery. One of the first iPhone killer apps! *2024-06-21, version 6.4.28* I used this a lot when I was on a world trip.
