## What is ByteEd?

This companion app is to be used in conjunction with the physical Dinosaur Steps STEM kit from ByteEd. Bring to life the kit by using AR Technology!

Play, Code & Learn your way through the Dinosaur Steps kit, by learning the basics of computational thinking and moving Explorer Ed through the Jurassic landscape.

Unified Login process with the ByteEd Website, so your login details are shared between both.

### 1.30 — 2025-11-26

Fixed issues with fetching large lists of user data as a teacher, or confirming sign-in details as a student.

### 1.29 — 2025-07-08

-Added access to the new dinosaur steps farming theme! This new theme includes new animated characters and a glossary full of interesting facts about agriculture around the world.

- Added a character edit screen to allow users to use ANY of the dinosaur characters as the main character for each activity.

### 1.28 — 2024-12-10

Added QR-Sign in options to the App! If you have an official ByteEd QR Code for your profile, you can use these to sign in instead of using your username & password.

### 1.27 — 2024-11-04

Additional content was added to the Dinosaur Steps Farm Theme! Enjoy more custom models to choose from, and custom farm layouts have been added for you to play with!

Share your images with others by using the "Share" button that can be found in each of the photo modes in the app.
