BUT. They have another app, Duo, for security that you say okay whenever anyone signs into your BYU account anywhere. The BYU app logs out often, and you have to login again and get a duo approval. What is the point in having this app if you have to login all the time? You’d only login to this app on your own phone, likely on the same phone that has the duo app. Stupidest thing ever. However, the app is super nice and has the easiest fastest access to everything you’ll need from ID to class info to locker info to maps. ### 2/5 — Tries to smash lots of different apps into one *2025-09-03, version 16.0.31* I have to re-install this once in a while to manage my car. Otherwise never had a use. The ID card should show your card, but the text/info over-runs the “card” background. There seems to be several different map apps, always “trouble” showing financial information. Many things I imagine people might use this for I use the dedicated webpage (e.g. my.byu.edu or map.byu.edu). ### 4/5 — Indispensable, but sometimes glitchy/slow *2024-10-21* This app is absolutely necessary for a BYU student. Occasionally there are annoying glitches/slowness, but for the most part it is good, and the functionality it allows is extremely useful. I use it for ordering food on campus most of the time. A lot of the other functionality either opens a browser or is better used on a browser.
