Sometimes the app does not accept the camera image from my iPhone 6sPlus, so I tend to use the iPad. No problems checking accounts. Once I log in, I often have to completely close out and log in again to be able to see activity and such. The website is just as bad. L ### 1/5 — WORST BANKING APP EVER! *2025-12-31, version 18.0.5908* This is the worst banking app ever. The change to this new system and bank merger is ATROCIOUS! And did the bank really have to make these changes in the middle of the holiday season - the worst possible time to screw up everyone’s online shopping? How inconvenient to customers! This app is NOT user-friendly in any way. It is overly complicated for no reason. It signs out after a few minutes of actively using the app which messes up settings you are actively trying to change or save. It doesn’t recognize Face ID even, though all of my other apps do. Connecting other accounts is problematic. The settings and menus are so difficult to use and you have to go all the way back to the first screen every single time and then navigate through multiple menus just to get to the next setting. The first 2/3 of the screen are advertisements for programs and services I do not want and so I have to scroll down to see a snapshot of my accounts and do what I actually opened the app to do. I was auto-enrolled in their stupid ID theft protection services which is just a scam to sell my data to third party services. You have to opt out of it rather than the other way around. There are constant pop-up ads while I am in the middle of doing important, secure banking that are confusing, make it easy for errors to occur, and make it seem like this is a scammy app or game app. I went into a physical locations and contacted the bank directly several times and was told completely inaccurate information by the representatives. Clearly they do not know or have not been trained accordingly. There is barely any information with instructions or to make the transition easier, especially for people who are not tech savvy. The booklet that I was given had overly complicated and difficult instructions and the information ended up not being correct anyway. I hate using this app and online banking. It is so frustrating and I am going to take my money to a different bank as a result. This app and bank are going to take advantage of and harm unknowing and vulnerable people. Many options are buried under other menus and it is hard to look at attached card details. ### 1/5 — Awful experience *2023-08-12* This app is full of bugs. At one point it asked me if I wanted to set up my C&N credit card account through it so I can monitor that via the app as well, then after weeks of it still saying processing I began the arduous process of trying to find a single human at the company who knew what was going on. Eventually I spoke to a woman who said, “oh yeah that feature isn’t available.” What?! Then why did it let me go through the whole process in the app?? Dumb. Dumb. Dumb. ### 1/5 — C&N app *2021-09-01* It is probably the worst app I ever used. For example: when I tried to send money to a friend, it said an error occurred try later. I tried 4 times with the same results. Alter calling on Friday you said I exceeded the daily limit. Over the weekend I tried again with the same results. On Monday I called again and found out I was using an expired card number.
