A full featured drone, for the price and therefore you should expect it not to be on a par with say DJI. Ao there are a couple of issue; namely GPS Calibration but thats a whole other review. Back to the app. All in all it does what you need. It lacks photo functions, ev would have been nice but that relates to my previous statement, its not a DJI drone. The app functions all work, communication and fpv are as youd expect, fair and the app doesn't crash 95% of the time, which is nice. What I find strange is, considering this drone is sold under the C-Fly, Eachine and JJRC brands and they have respective apps, they appear to be slightly different. Some features in one and not the other. The same can be said for the C-Fly 2 app, this is for another drone type but has a flight log and far greater info displayed about the drones “status”. It would have been nice or would be nice if this could be included in the next update. Finally, you get what you pay for and considering that, the App, the drone, the whole package is a very good place to start with this hobby. My JJRC X12 flies in circles, flies wherever it wants, does not respond to controller and RTH does not work well.... optical flow positioning fails as well. Also the gimbal pitch angle function is jerky , should be slower for good video. Parameter for RTH is missing, like battery percent and altitude. And NOW after the upgrade the satellites Numbers View is missing and you don’t know how many satellites you have to fly and also the position is not correct, standing in the floor in the landing pad the distance give me 15 meters and high -5 meters (I was on an hill). Will not connect to my iPhone or any other that I tried. These Chinese people stole $300.00 from me. I bought this crappy drone in 2019, and have flown it only one time, using just the controller, without the phone and all the features I bought it for. You people are thieves. Fix this app to work. Show us you can be responsible and honorable people. This app is horrible it does not connect o the x12 tried with 6 different phones it shows in WiFi options but not the crappy app! Calibrate gyro- calibration failed Compass calibration- calibration failed Pair unit- nothing happens Firmware version- shows firmware, no updates Switch camera- works after some Chinese message, but either camera gives error when trying the HD function No SD card error, even with card inserted Gimbal adjustment (13) does nothing The on screen thumb controls do nothing. I have yet to use any gps function (map, home return) as it never has more than 1 bar signal (flashing green), the drone itself is hardly stays still even indoors on manual mode. The manual is in bad English The fly easy and c fly apps are exactly the same and both deserve 1 star ### 1/5 — Cant connect *2020-11-16, version 1.3.12* IOS 14.1 cant connect to my Faith 4k ? ### 1/5 — Bad calibration (compás, gimbal, gps) *2020-11-03, version 1.3.12* Gimbal does not work consistently. It stars with camera not horizontally balance after gimbal calibration. Tilt gimbal wheel not working After several on/off operations it works randomly. This is clearly firmware fault, not hardware. Very badly supported and upgraded for a drone with a lot of sales and recently upgraded with improved distance. Please urgently upgrade an correct gimbal calibration problems. I am using iPhone X.
