This app needs very necessary improvements, for example aspect ratio for video while filming.

The app itself works ok (when it does work) but it really needs some improvements done to it, especially within the interface design, for example: the telemetry/icons shown on the top of the screen in the interface (which is in all white) is not visible when flying in a bright background because there is no background bar which would show the telemetry clearly in bright conditions, therefore it’s difficult to see the drone and RC battery life, available satellites, etc. An option to lock-in the auto exposure by tapping on the screen and locking in your lighting exposure (like smart phones do) would be perfect. They also need to improve, or fix, the way the app interacts via OTA ( over the air) when it comes to upgrading the firmware. It appears to not work so well currently. If the developer can fix these issues mentioned above, I think that it would highly improve the users experience.

This app just failed to connect to the drone 99% of all attempts I had.  Controller and drone took a long time to connect, but as long as they can connect it is OK.  On the other hand, this app was only able to connect to the drone once and only once.  Now I can only fly the drone with the controller, but I cannot know what images/videos I can take.  This Faith 2 is not cheap.  With this crap-like app, I am wasting my precious money.  So, don’t buy this crap and let the maker go down the drain.  We consumers should learn how to protect ourselves.  These drone makers in China do not respect quality control and customer satisfaction.

NEW FIRMWARE UPGRADE AVAILABLE May 29, 2021:

CFly has put out a new drone firmware upgrade but unfortunately the procedure is only available to do on Windows and not MacOS system. Hopefully they will make it compatible with MacOS and iOS soon.  

The C-Fly Faith 2 drone is a really good drone but the C-FLY 2 iOS app is not up to par with the Sony sensor that it has. I hope that they can update this app ASAP with a camera parameters settings tab, so that I can be able to experience the true potential of the 4K camera, because right now its just the same as the original C-Fly app which defeats the purchase of having a 4K camera... Also, I saw that the Android version of this app has been updated and has a camera parameter settings tab already but they haven’t updated the iOS version with these new settings yet. Why? 

This is a failure in my opinion and they are going to lose out on many potential customers like myself who expect to have these settings already available in the iOS app so that customers can play with them right out of the box—not wait weeks or months for an update. It’s the least you can do for customers paying a decent amount of money for this drone.
