## What is C?

In a world of constant digital noise, meaningful connections require more than just availability—they demand context, timing, and intention.
C-Point was built around this principle. By combining presence and context, C-Point helps people connect at the right moment, for the right reason.

### 1.5 — 2026-06-02

Introducing Light Mode

Opt-in Daytime Theme: A clean, open, and flat light theme designed specifically for daytime contexts (such as working from a cafe). Dark mode remains the default, but you can now toggle a beautiful, flat light appearance in your settings.
Native Integration: The interface seamlessly transitions, including automatic status bar and keyboard adjustments on iOS to match the clean aesthetic.
Smarter Steve AI Presence

Upgraded Context & Memory: Steve, your built-in intelligent assistant, is now significantly more responsive and contextual. With new backend memory indexing and retrieval systems, Steve remembers past interactions and community configurations more accurately.
Intelligent Tool Routing: Steve can now navigate platform features, retrieve relevant knowledge base policies, and assist you with onboarding and profile setups more fluidly.
Next-Generation Chat Media Uploads (v2.2)

Reliable Multipart Uploads: We have completely rebuilt the media upload pipeline for both direct messages and group chats. Large photos and high-definition videos now upload in fast, reliable chunks.
Resumable Uploads: If your connection drops or you temporarily close the app, C-Point will automatically and silently resume your pending uploads in the background when you return.
Quality Control: Choose between Standard (optimized for speed) and HD (preserving original quality) when sending videos.
Smart Gallery Management: Deleting items from your media gallery now instantly syncs across active threads and physically purges files from storage, keeping your private network clean and secure.

### 1.4 — 2026-05-27

This update makes chat feel more native, improves how you browse photos in communities, and brings smarter document support to Steve.

Chat opens at the latest message — DMs and group chats land where you left off, with smoother scrolling and a steadier composer when the keyboard appears.
Full-screen photos in communities — Tap a feed image to view it in an immersive viewer, the same experience you get in chat.
Steve can read your community documents — Ask Steve about PDFs and files in Links & Docs; he can find and summarise what’s in them when you’re in the feed or group chat (no need to paste long documents yourself).
Refreshed sign-in and onboarding — Updated C-Point look with clearer welcome copy and accent colours.
Smarter inbox previews — Better previews for photos, voice notes, replies, and shared files.
More reliable Steve in chat — Stronger replies in DMs (including photos and PDF attachments), clearer typing feedback, and steadier behaviour in group chats.
Password reset fixed — The forgot-password flow works again.
Stability and polish — Layout fixes on iPhone, media viewing improvements, and general reliability updates.

Bug Fixes & Improvements

• Fixed login issues with invite links - You can now use invitation links shared via QR codes without being unexpectedly logged out. The app properly handles universal links and maintains your session.

• Fixed "Session expired" error - Resolved an issue where users would see "Session expired, please try again" when trying to log in after logging out. Login now works reliably on all iOS devices.

• Improved community management - The "Create Sub-Community or Group" button is now easier to access as a floating button, with improved placement to avoid screen edge conflicts.
