### 2/5 — Don’t bother

*2021-07-19*

You have to pay for compilations from the start. Don’t waste your time.

### 4/5 — Very good - just has no free compiles

*2020-07-04, version 13.0*

The app itself is good; it works as advertised and the price to unlock unlimited compiling is really good compared to other apps. So overall it’s a great deal. The only reason I give 4/5 is you have to spend money to do your first compile meaning you don’t know how well it actually will work until you pay.

In my case it works well so far but it’d be nice to do a test run first

### 3/5 — I was looking for this

*2019-09-17, version 12.0*

Thank you

### 4/5 — I did a Microsoft coding test on it

*2017-03-21, version 9.0*

This app is purely the basics, and has no update functions.

However, it's pretty solid and I used it to code a challenge I was given. Ended up being perfect because I was not near my computer when i needed to be most.

### 2/5 — Review

*2017-03-20*

If you're going to charge per compilation and have the customer start out with none just have an upfront cost to the app. Sadly this is pretty much the only C# compiler I can find on the App Store.

**Developer response:** You can buy unlimited compilations package and use the application as much as you want!

### 4/5 — Good

*2016-12-11, version 9.0*

Thats a really good compiler, it works fine, but only minus is that you need to pay to compile. I would recommend developer to add 5 free compiling so people can test. Everything else is cool

### 4/5 — So much potential

*2016-11-26*

Honestly it's not bad. It's just not great either. The layout is difficult to navigate and even then it's not much like normal c#. I think if you were to make it more like c# and potentially improve the layout, you'd be onto something.

### 2/5 — I mean it's good, just the paying system is bogus

*2016-10-13, version 9.0*

For a mobile compiler it is very good and does it like Visual Studio would, but I am not investing in an app just so I can test my code a couple of times

### 1/5 — Horrible app

*2016-10-11*

Seriously? Charging for every test build/run for anything you do? Horrible for anyone wanting to code a few small scripts testing things on the move when you can't even check if your code compiles without errors unless you're willing to pay.

**Developer response:** You can buy unlimited compilations package and use the application as much as you want!

### 4/5 — Cool BUT

*2016-08-10*

You need more references, only using system; seems fairly limited, you need to add more with network access and yo design panel so we can write simple apps

### 1/5 — WORST app ever

*2016-07-29, version 9.0*

This app requires you to pay to actually run your programs! How stupid!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — I have to pay to compile??

*2022-01-05*

Would give 0 stars if i could why should i have to pay to compile code?

### 1/5 — Utter trash

*2021-06-06*

Is clunky, ugly user interface and all features are locked and require payment

### 1/5 — DO NOT INSTALL

*2021-03-07, version 13.0*

IT HAS NOTHING!!!!!!!!!

### 1/5 — Can’t test if it will compile code correctly

*2019-09-27, version 12.0*

Can this app handle the Console.ReadLine() command? Can this program handle text color? What are the limitations? This application says free but in order to compile anything other than the demo program it requires a fee. Sure the fee is either .99 for 100 compilations or 2.99 for unlimited but too many developers are taking advantage thinking that it’s only .99 cents so they take your dollar and give you a bad application. If you do this enough it adds up and you lose trust on valid applications. I would suggest you start with a 100 free compilations then block the app from further compilations. We can’t trust the developers demo app since it’s hard coded to compile and run.
This app has a ton of limitations and the developer knows that so he structure this to take advantage of that.

### 1/5 — Not motivated to pay straight away

*2018-07-28*

Hard to justify paying when user really doesn’t know if it works apart from a screen shot saying compiles successfully for the sample. Would be more motivating to allow user to tinker a bit (say a day or two or with adverts) and then charge.

### 1/5 — Completely useless

*2018-06-22*

You can’t even compile a very very very simple app without buying compilations!!!

### 1/5 — Rip off - DON'T BUY

*2017-04-15, version 9.0*

This is a piece of junk designed to steal money. It is too bad I can't rate it any lower. Looking at the reviews, they must be scamming or paying people to write reviews to make the numbers go up. So sad.

**Developer response:** Please explain your opinion more detailed.

### 1/5 — False Pricing

*2017-04-11, version 9.0*

Has no functionality unless you pay.

### 1/5 — Can I give 0 stars

*2016-11-29, version 9.0*

Do not get this app unless you want to pay. This app shouldn't even have in app purchases. YOU CANT RUN YOUR PROGRAM WITHOUT PAYING

### 1/5 — Bad pricing system

*2016-10-18*

Rip-off price charging per compilation, really don't bother...

**Developer response:** You can buy unlimited compilations and use the application as much as you want!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Unbelievable

*2020-04-24, version 13.0*

I have used this app for a while. And at first I didn’t like that you had to pay, but I got over it and got a great app. I look at the reviews and people complain about the money. Are you kidding? People pay a thousand dollars for a phone but won’t play a lousy three dollars? I code Unity and developing are a game. This is an amazing app and worth the three dollars. There are a couple errors, but that’s nothing. There are app out there that are probably better. But this is really convenient. I am so sorry devs of this app, you did an amazing job!

### 5/5 — Solid app.

*2018-06-20*

First compiler app I have downloaded. Well built and fun to use.

Initially caught off guard by the in-app purchases. But fair enough! And usable across all devices with unlimited.

### 5/5 — Worth every penny

*2018-04-19, version 11.1*

I wanted to make sure that this get what it deserves. Making a free app with no ads that is as nice and complete as this deserves be paid for. The developer will only be able to continue to make apps like this if they can get paid while doing it. This app is exactly what I was looking for in learning C# on the go. $2.99 for unlimited compilations is a bargain and all those complaining just don’t understand how development works. If some builds something and they use there own time and effort, they should be able to ask for compensation.

The only thing I wish it had was iPad Shortcuts. Would be great run, build, and compile using a keyboard shortcut instead of having to reach up every time. Not a huge thing just a hopeful want for the future.

### 5/5 — The Real Deal

*2017-07-09, version 9.0*

This app works exactly as described. $3 for the unlimited compiles is totally worth it. Simple, effective app, well done!

### 5/5 — Great job!

*2017-01-22, version 9.0*

Does what it says it will do.

### 5/5 — Ignore 1 Stars

*2017-01-19, version 9.0*

When I saw the reviews I was expecting some money grabbing app. The people writing these 1 star reviews are obviously kids who think $3 is breaking the bank. You can pay $1 for 100 compiles or pay $3 for unlimited. The app even has a restore option so you can reinstall or install on another device.

Now my review. I don't use this as my main way of writing programs, but it is a great option for while I'm on the go. It's better than other apps I've tried and definitely better than remoting into a PC.
+Mobile C#
+Good UI
+Fare Compile fee
-Needs cloud storage linking. I use Google Drive.

### 5/5 — Mobile C that works

*2016-08-17, version 9.0*

It works! And just because you have to pay a few bucks for unlimited compiles does not warrant negative reviews. I use this app to sketch out C# tidbits that I later flush out on my laptop.

### 5/5 — Jhon Barreiro

*2016-08-08*

Excellent tool to keep those coding skills alive whilst in the tube or bus!

### 5/5 — Cool though

*2016-05-29*

Know how to use c# don't know how to use this app

### 5/5 — $2.99 for unlimited compiling on my phone

*2015-10-12, version 7.5*

Great app for beginners. If you're wanting to play around with coding from the comfort of your phone, this is the app for you. I'm just learning how to code, and I am not always at my computer. It cost $3 bucks. Less than a cup of coffee from Starbucks. I say it's 100% worth it
