What I liked: This app has a nice UI more modern and advance from most other Apps I used Have links to multiple online sources so you are able to cast them What I don’t like, App crashes too often, will lose its media source unless you close and reopen the app, this is a total show stopper for me. On the free version , pop up ads comes up interrupt on every song you play, very annoying and I think it’s kind of a show stopper for lots of the users wanting to fully test out the app before buying. Hopefully app owner will read this and make necessary changes, this app definitely has its potential and good to have once they can clear the crash. ### 3/5 — Comme si comme sa *2017-10-08, version 6.0.6* When it works well it is marvelous. But there are many times that it can’t maintain a session with a Chromecast even though the WiFi signal is strong. I can "see" my iPhone playlists and select the first song in the playlist but after that it will just stop until I manually push the start button again. Very frustrating to an otherwise well created app. ### 3/5 — Seems very complicated but has potential! *2016-12-08, version 5.1.1* I have other cast apps 4 in total, excluding this C5 app. They all do one area of casting well but fail in multi type casting. Music from my apple library, video (from the internet), and photos from my device IPhone 7 +. The C5 app was very confusing but seem as it may cover all casting types well, only time will tell. I dislike the playlist function under music, it attempts to connect you to premade playlists off the internet. I would rather use my own playlist due to having and extensive library. And the app will not copy my playlist I have already on my Apple Music, I am recreating them on this. But unlike other music cast apps it gives me the option to random play the chosen list which is a huge plus. It has all the stations and simple, almost elegant interface. Tried just about every DLNA app in the store and this is by far the most stable and consistent. Plays pretty much anything and does freeze or drop frames etc... ### 5/5 — Excellent Playback App For AirVideo *2014-12-28, version 4.2.3* I have spent so much money and time trying to get the perfect app to Air Play my home network to my Apple TV or just to my iPhones and iPads, and only 2 apps playback flawlessly, cannot name the other which is great, but this app has so many options embedded into it, I'm shocked how well this app performs. Excellent quality, quick flawless streaming over wifi to AirPlay, and so many other options. Please take the time, do some research, and I whole heartedly would advise to download this app, I guarantee you will be extremely impressed! Don't waste time - you will not regret this app. I am deleting 6 other similar apps which I paid for but perform horribly. I cannot emphasize enough how much you will enjoy this app. Recommend (cannot name) an online server which enhances your whole home or business network. I work for a State agency and cannot for the life of me understand why they still use outdated hardwares and softwares to do simple PPPs, when all they need is a 99 USD Apple TV, and give all the Division Directors an iPhone, how life would be so much simpler. Thanks Apple and the creator of this App. ### 2/5 — What's the point? *2014-10-03, version 4.0.3* You can't even play your own iTunes songs.. It says copyright protected. I own the songs duh.. The UI is clumsy and if the first thing you try to do is just play a simple song or two and it doesn't work, are you really going to tinker around trying to learn the rest of the app? Thanks. ### 5/5 — Great app! *2016-04-27, version 4.8.12* This, along with a Chromecast Audio, have given me the equivalent of a Sonos Connect. The DNLA support works perfect. Since all my music is already on a NAS, I can quit dragging CDs around the house. It is a simple solution allowing me to add audio streaming to my old Denon and Nakamichi receivers.
