I am enamored with this platform’s stated goal! So far the app is doing mostly what I like apps to do. Only two issues I’ve found so far that I hope the team is working on:

CC doesn’t cut it for subtitles. I hope they start working on professional transcriptions for the subtitles. 

The app doesn’t behave like I’m watching a video. The screen will dim if I don’t tap it and eventually turn off.
