### 1/5 — Worst experience with CabBazar

Extremely disappointing experience with CabBazar. I had booked a cab from Dehradun Airport to Kanatal for my senior citizen parents four days in advance. The cab was scheduled to pick them up at 1:15 PM, and since morning I had been repeatedly following up with CabBazar’s customer support to ensure everything was in place. Every single time, I was assured that a driver would be assigned and the pickup would happen as scheduled. Shockingly, at around 1:00 PM, just 15 minutes before my parents’ arrival, I received a call informing me that CabBazar would not be able to arrange a cab at all. This is completely unacceptable and highly irresponsible. When elderly passengers are travelling, reliability is not a luxury—it is a necessity. Senior citizens are often not comfortable handling last-minute travel disruptions, and CabBazar’s complete lack of planning and accountability put my parents in a very stressful situation. To make matters worse, their call center executives were of no help whatsoever. They kept giving false assurances throughout the day instead of being transparent about the situation and allowing us enough time to make alternate arrangements. If CabBazar cannot honor bookings made several days in advance, especially for airport pickups, they should not be in the business of providing travel services. This level of unprofessionalism and poor customer service is unacceptable. I will never use CabBazar again and would strongly advise others, especially those arranging travel for senior citizens, to think twice before relying on their services.

Booked a cab with cabbazaar for 1 pm pickup for Rajiv Gandhi airport Hyderabad . Cab driver cancelled cab at 12.30 pm and customer service executive Jaagruti Sharma couldn’t find another cab . On top of that she was happy to cancel the cab and leave me in limbo. Nowhere to go . She was also very rude and at all eager to help. Overall very terrible experience with cabbazaar.

Pathetic customer service. Car loan was due hence load cleaning officers grab driver in mid way. First driver made is wait for 1 hour but still couldn’t come. Our booking amount was refunded as 2 hour validity voucher and next ride was 1 hour away. The next ride booking amount was 1300 while previous booking amount was 1700. 400 is still stuck with this pathetic app. Not interested in another ride. They refuse to refund in bank account

### 1/5 — Horrible and unprofessional car vendors

I am currently traveling in a car booked by your app with my family. I’m officially filing a complaint against your car vendor (not the driver). 
I have already made 25% advance payment while booking the car. After the journey or in between the TOTAL journey, I was suppose to pay ₹8500 more. Within 3 hours in the journey, we were asked to pay ₹6000 out of the ₹8500 of the remaining payment. I understand and was willing to pay all the toll charges and gas payments on the spot. The issue was why ask most of the payment (₹6000 when the gas and toll charges was of ₹3000) beforehand. The driver asked us to connect with the vendor (his boss) who provided the car. 

We called the vendor and he was the rudest person ever. He was extremely unprofessional. We told him that we made 25% advance payment, he criticized that the payment went to the app, not us. We are providing you the car. We mentioned that we booked your car via cabbazar app. He words were “agar aapko bich Raaste mei hum utaar de na toh app wale Gaadi nahi bhejenge” (translation: if we drop you off in between the road, the app will not be able to send car to pick you up) and then he abruptly disconnected the call on my face. 

So tell me one thing, do you not verify your vendors. Is this the security and safety you provide between our journey? If the driver or the vendor literally drops me and my family in between nowhere on the road, what do you expect me to do in that situation? 

This shows extreme unprofessionalism on your part because we booked the cab via your company.

Booked a taxi for outstation at 3:30 pm. Taxi got confirmed with driver allocation. Spoke to driver too. After confirming he declined to come. Same with 2nd driver. 3rd driver got assigned and came after 90 mins. Reached destination 3 hours late than supposed to be. Driver showed trip meter reset and denied showing odometer. He had set 2 trips and final meter reading showed some 30 km extra. Was too tired after 8 hours of journey to argue with him. Paid some 400 extra because of drivers non transparency . He even objected to switch on AC. After much discussion switched on but frequently turning on and off. Not a great experience because of driver(off course this is nothing to do with Cabbazar, but should onboard honest and genuine drivers

Absolutely pathetic service from Cab Bazaar. I had booked a reserved cab well in advance for an early morning 4:30 AM slot, but at the last moment, the driver canceled and they started asking for extra money for the same destination. This completely wasted my time and efforts, especially since I had trusted them for an important early morning travel.
Instead of honoring the confirmed booking, their team casually told me that if I don’t agree to pay extra, I am free to cancel. What kind of professional service is this? Extremely unprofessional, unreliable, and disappointing customer support.
If your travel plans are important and time-sensitive, I would strongly advise against using Cab Bazaar. They are not trustworthy and do not value their customers.

### 1/5 — Worst and traumatised experience with Cab Bazzar and their customer care

Very bad experience with cab Bazzar. Their customer care services are totally waste. I booked cab at 10:40 AM. Driver didn’t show up. Called customer care they told me to wait for 15 mins, again after 30 minutes called customer care, this time they told me to wait another 1 hrs they will change the cab. But no one show up after that too. Asked them to cancel the ride and refund. Got totally unexpected response to wait another 1 hrs they will change the cab. But nothing happens. Finally after wasting more than 2 hrs. I decided to not waste my time with the worst customer service of cab bazar and booked another cab service. 

Conclusion if you have a lot of time to waste and have patient to listen thier resolution style of problem that will never solve book cab bazzar.  Good luck with cab bazzar services.

Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this service.

Requested for additional luggage space and paid for it. Car came with boot space fully occupied by a CNG tank. There was a carrier on top of the car which was just the basic luggage space. There was no additional luggage space!

Called the staff and told them to cancel the booking and they could forfeit the deposit. They insisted the booking is non-cancellable and non-refundable. They wanted to absorb the whole cost. Request to speak to higher authority (manager) was flatly denied. We spoke to two staff, Tanya and Vishika who were exceptionally unhelpful and pushed the blame to the customer.

Terrible service. Not at all reasonable. Only wanted to take the money. 

They were also unhelpful to the driver who was left stranded and could not accept another booking becos they refused to cancel the booking.

I had a U.S. visa interview scheduled tomorrow, and due to the last-minute cancellation of my booking, I was forced to secure an alternative rental at a higher cost of ₹8000. Given the urgency of my situation and the financial impact of this issue, I will be submitting all relevant evidence to my corporate attorney.

If immediate reimbursement is not processed, legal proceedings will be initiated, including a substantial financial claim against Cab Bazar for the distress and inconvenience caused. This situation is unacceptable, and I expect swift resolution.

Kindly proceed with the reimbursement without delay so I can finalize my alternate travel arrangements.


Another incident :

The driver charged Rs 4,144 instead of Rs 3,784, which is Rs 360 more than expected, even though he was unable to drop me at my destination. During the journey, he asked us to exit the car twice, and later claimed an additional 10 km had been traveled. I argued, but I did not wish to escalate the situation, so I paid Rs 160 extra. For the Kolkata Airport to Bankura route via Arambagh, the distance is below 176 km, and I have evidence to support this. The driver added an airport gate fee of Rs 100, despite the fact that he did not wait for a single minute—we were already waiting outside when he arrived. He also charged an additional Rs 100 for tolls, which was incorrect, as the toll charges for this route should not exceed Rs 65. In total, I paid Rs 360 extra (Rs 160 for additional distance, Rs 100 for gate fees, and Rs 100 for toll charges), out of which Rs 160 plus Rs 100 plus Rs 35 were fraudulent charges. As an existing passenger, I request a refund of Rs 295

We have recently used CabBazar to book a couple of longer one-way trips and a day-trip and in all cases everything went smoothly from initial registration, to bookings at competitive prices, clear instructions and prompt follow-ups. To avoid any misunderstanding related to final payment at the end of the trip, it is important to be clear on what the price does and doesn’t include (information is provided in the booking) as the final settlement  is done with the driver and CabBazar only sends an invoice on on driver’s  behalf upon completion  of the transaction.
