It was great and everything went very smoothly. Today, I tried to book in the Paphos area. The job was accepted and I popped to the bathroom so was away from my phone for about 3 minutes. I came back to aggressive “are you there????” “hello?????” messages and a cancelled job. I rebooked and after about ten minutes the job was reaccepted. After a moment my phone rang and a very rude man said that the job would be €4 more than quoted in the app and kept repeating this at me. I asked why because that wasn’t the quote I was given. He then said he was the manager and all the other drivers weren’t coming because I’d ignored the messages they had sent. No other drivers had accepted the job or sent me messages. I explained I’d missed his message as explained above and he kept shouting at me whilst denying doing so. I decided to find alternative transportation. Would never recommend Cab CY now, an absolute joke. ### 1/5 — Caution *2023-12-23, version 0.43.20* Looked just like the Uber app. Sadly on first go i immediately get a message from the driver saying price is wrong and he immediately doubles it. Pretty pointless if you don’t know what you are paying. Oh well. Won’t be using this again. ### 1/5 — Garbage *2023-12-05, version 0.43.07* Taxis are never available and if you do get one they will try over charge you. ### 1/5 — Do not top up !!!! *2023-09-04, version 0.43.02* Tried booking multiple times no taxis anywhere and won’t refund your money. Complete waste of time. I strongly recommend to avoid the app. ### 1/5 — No driver, no notification *2023-07-04, version 0.42.02* Scheduled a car 3 hours in advance, received confirmation a couple of hours out that a driver had been assigned. When the booking time came up now showing as no booking assigned and no notification/time. Clearly work needed. ### 1/5 — Non-Functional Service In Larnaca *2023-06-11, version 0.42.0102* Attempted to order a taxi 3 times, and not a single time a cab ever showed up to central locations in Larnaca. Ordering in advance doesn’t help either as I almost missed a flight doing so. Avoid it and use Bolt instead. ### 1/5 — Don’t use *2023-05-21, version 0.42.0102* The way the UI is later out makes you top up before you order a taxi. I topped up €24 to then be told there’s no drivers (Sunday 16:20 for context) ### 1/5 — Miserable app and miserable drivers. *2022-11-20* I would not trust this app. Drivers do whatever they want. The app pickup time isn’t close to accurate. Do not depend on to take you to an airport. **Developer response:** Hi Swilezol, thank you for leaving the review. I attempted to order at least six times before giving up and finding a supermarket where someone helped order me a taxi. ### 1/5 — Absolutely no cars around EVER😂 *2024-08-10, version 0.45.01* Honestly this is a total rip off! Tried to book a few times but you can’t book til you’ve put money in your wallet! So I put €20 in and booked only to have the job cancelled cos there was no driver. Tried 4 or 5 more times across the days but nothing. Tried to prebook and still nothing! What a lovely gentleman! ### 3/5 — Finding a driver is a challenge *2025-11-15* This is a great idea, but it is difficult to find a driver nearly every time we needed one—both peak and off-peak times. The app prompts you to increase your offer a minimum of 5 euros to see if anyone will take the enhanced offer. That did not work, and going to 10 euros over was doubling our expected bill on short trips. In short, this might reserve a trip if you lay out a very high amount of cash for the trip. Otherwise, good luck ### 3/5 — Works ok but drivers abit dodgy *2025-10-28, version 0.47.04* Works ok and is cheaper than Bolt but the drivers are abit dodgy and I had one messaging me on WhatsApp accusing me of not paying and chasing me for money. ### 3/5 — Room for improvement *2025-06-03, version 0.46.02* Pros: Easy to use Always got a ride in Paphos, even in remote areas. Sometimes you get brand new Mercedes. Most drivers are polite. They don’t speak English but it is ok. Cons: Every single ride has an extra charge with no explanation from 1 to 6 euros. Some of the drivers are dangerous, they run red lights and even drive on the wrong side of the road. We had a couple of dangerous situations. Most drivers are very safe. ### 2/5 — Missleading *2025-01-28* When you get a rate for regular taxi and you order, you wait forever and then it says no drivers are available, the minute you chose to add 5 euros to the rate, all of a sudden, drivers are available, does the public not realize what is happening here?/ you need to be more honest about how your system works ### 2/5 — Sneaky and useless *2024-10-05, version 0.45.04* Forces you to top up wallet before ordering a taxi and then can’t find a taxi. Now you’re stuck as you can’t withdraw from the app once you top up. Don’t always have cash either.
