## What is Cabi Capra?

Cabi Capra is a full Spanish course in your pocket: nearly 20,000 words graded A1 to C2, 42,000 real example sentences, graded readers, grammar lessons and complete verb tables. It all runs offline, without an account, and a capybara gets fed every time you finish a session

FIVE WAYS TO PRACTICE
• Flashcards with self-grading
• Multiple choice
• Dictation: hear the word, write it
• Sentence cloze: fill the gap in a real sentence
• Verbs: 2,000 verbs with full conjugation tables

SCAN THE SPANISH AROUND YOU
• Photograph a page, a menu or a sign — on-device text recognition turns it into a tappable lesson
 • Or paste and read any Spanish text with full word lookup
 • Scans are kept in your library so you can come back to them

 YOUR STUDY BUDDY
 • A capybara that grows with your progress — cartoon poses or anime-style posters
 • Daily goal, streaks and a home-screen widget
 • Optional daily reminder at a time you pick
   • Save words to a personal deck and drill only those

 YOURS, AND ONLY YOURS
 • Works 100% offline — every word, sentence and text ships inside the app
 • No account, no ads, no tracking, nothing leaves your device
 • Full backup and restore to a single file

Whether you are starting from zero, preparing for DELE or a semester abroad, or keeping a C1 level alive, Cabi Capra gives you the words, the sentences and the schedule to get there and a capybara to keep you honest about it.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1 — 2026-08-26

This update is about two questions that come up constantly when you learn Spanish. What part of speech am I actually looking at, and why don't two similar words mean the same thing.
saber, conocer and enterarse all translate to something like "know", which is exactly what makes them hard. Every group comes with an explanation, example sentences and a fill-in-the-blank exercise to test yourself. The back of a card now also carries a short note whenever a word has a close relative like that.

Content updates used to wipe your reading progress. They don't any more. The direction picker offered five entries, two pairs of which had identical labels and one of which showed a blank card, so it's three distinct ones now. An empty line sat above the translation on every card back. The launch screen showed the logo far too large. "Reset all progress" left your tracked study time untouched. Search responds noticeably faster.
