This is not what notifications are for. App uninstalled. ### 1/5 — Malfunctions *2026-06-17, version 8.244.0* This app is BAD when I say BAD i mean their reservation service does not work and they took €20 after telling me all my rides were canceled and now they REFUSE to give me my €20 back after weeks and weeks of customer service not listening to my case. Maybe they took my money so they can use it to update the system but I don’t even think so. I cannot emphasize enough, do NOT use them just use uber it will be cheaper more reliable and all around better. I pre-booked a cab for an airport run to save stress. The taxi arrived more than 10 minutes early. Didn’t phone me. I said I’d be about 5-10 minute at my designated time and when I left my hotel my taxi wasn’t where I expected. I said I was there and looking and it suddenly cancelled saying the driver couldn’t locate me. Customer services spent 20 minutes accusing me of not being there when the taxi was. I will not be using their services again despite how cheap they are. Awful customer service. What taxi company lets you pre-order a taxi for an airport that won’t wait for you past your waiting time by 1 minute if you’re looking for them?? And not phoning you either! Again, for an airport transport!! EDIT - I contacted support, hence leaving my review!! I deleted the app and have no intention of using it again as your driver and customer service ripped me off!! **Developer response:** Hi, Pughga. Viele Grüße. ### 1/5 — Poor service *2026-04-22, version 8.236.0* The app first assigned us a driver who woke us up with a call at 4AM for our 6AM taxi saying he was waiting for us. Then we were directed to a meeting spot in an area restricted to taxis. Since Cabify uses regular drivers without taxi licenses, he could not drive to the pick up point, so we had to haul our luggage a long distance to the point where the driver was. The driver then charged us a late fee for making him wait!? I can not copy the text from driver. who is your product owner?? you should not call you PO. ### 1/5 — Traumatic Experience in Madrid *2026-03-28, version 8.232.0* The driver kicked our family including a 6 year old girl in the middle of a dangerous busy street. During the ride to Atocha train station, he said 5 EUR cash extra, okay? I said “No cash.” He kept repeating then got angry and stopped in the middle of the road and would not move until we handed him cash or got out. We had a train to catch so we felt our best choice was to hurry and find another cab. This was extortion which is illegal. Our girl seems a bit traumatized so we’re monitoring her. Cabify needs to screen their drivers better. This man is insane and should not be driving. ### 1/5 — Signup fail *2026-03-24* Downloaded the app and no way to sign up. Tried with email but endless circle saying no user registered but there is no option to register. Tried with my travel UK mobile number but rather than sending me a text it uses WhatsApp. Unable to register a second phone number in WhatsApp and no indication that it will go to a signup option anyway. Best regards! ### 1/5 — App inutil *2026-03-17, version 8.217.1* Trate 4 o 5 veces de pedir auto, primero no hace el cobro y dice “oops algo salió mal”, después no me acepta la dire, se cuelga, en otra no encuentra auto, y la última ya me bloqueó la app. Así que ahora yo los bloqueo a ellos, ya me recomendaron otras apps de viajes :) ### 1/5 — DO NOT GET THIS APP *2026-03-08, version 8.228.1* SCAM!! Show that the ride is 15 euros , so I booked it. It charges me 30 euros. No one picked up the order and it just doesn’t show in the app. Thought I would get my refund, but no I did not. Now I just lost 30 euros for no reason. Oh yeah and a driver scammed me too. Charged me twice the amount of money that he was supposed to receive. You’ll have to run and be lucky to make it to the right pickup zone in time. You will be late using this app. It will add more and more time for pick up and then suddenly cancel on you. The driver who supposed to take me to airport never been there so he drove me to the wrong location 3 times before o navigated him myself and was late for my international flight. I tried multiple times to contact the support - they just don’t carry any responsibility. They offered me €3 for my €43 trip plus $650 airplane I lost. On top of that, they blocked my account and denied my chargeback. All because of €43. This is the worst taxi service I ever used. Go to hell ### 1/5 — App Locks Up, Bad Drivers *2026-08-08, version 8.251.0* The app freezes and locks up my phone until I force close it. Drivers like to hide from you near just enough to start the waiting time then drive off to waste more time trying to charge you more. Can’t even use app support cause the app locks up. ### 1/5 — Trash App - Use Free Now Instead *2026-07-17, version 8.248.0* What a terrible app. Drivers cancel all of the time. The estimated wait times are always way underestimated. The pick up points are hard to customize, and them never accurate. The customer service is an AI that will cancel your ride even when you don’t want it to. Literally no redeeming qualities. ### 1/5 — unreliable and scam *2026-07-16, version 8.248.0* I had a flight at 6 am so i ordered an uber for 4 am to go yo the airport the in the morning of the previous day. Instead of having a confirmed driver ready the app when i did the reservation it only located a driver 10 minutes before i had to leave and after 20 minutes the only driver that confirmed canceled. ### 1/5 — Functionally good, operationally terrible *2026-07-02, version 8.246.0* Wasted a lot of time waiting for drivers that just go the opposite direction, don’t respond or never arrive ### 1/5 — So many things wrong with the service and the app *2026-06-28* I am visiting Spain and read in several places how this app is very popular. I cannot understand why. For each of my two rides, Cabify offered me the option for an expedited pick up for an additional cost. Each time the pick up time was significantly later. It didn’t refund me for that extra wait. On my second ride, the driver was two blocks away from the major intersection I was waiting at for 12 minutes only to have to go find him and be surcharged for it by Cabify for the driver’s wait time. I was at a street light cross walk at Plaza de Cuba in Seville. Not hard to find. After I complained they offered my the surcharge as a credit for a future ride. Not going to fool me a third time. The app doesn’t let you pick a language. I receive emails and alerts in Spanish but the app is in English. Clearly this service isn’t ready or its customers don’t seem to care. Update in response to the developer who replied and asked for an opportunity to address the situation. I posted this review after 5 days trying to resolve it through their customer service channels.
