## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.1.2 — 2026-04-06

Under the hood maintenance. No new features, no behavior changes.

This release updates several security dependencies — specifically the libraries used during app packaging and server routing. Everything works exactly as before; we just took care of some housekeeping that good software deserves. If you've been enjoying Cabin Count, leaving a review on the App Store helps more crew and travelers find it.

### 2.1.0 — 2026-03-26

Choose Your Experience (Existing Users)
If you've been using Cabin Count since before version 2.0, you'll see a one-time prompt when you open the app. It takes 5 seconds: just tap whether you're Flight Crew or a Traveler, hit Continue, and you're done. The app will immediately adjust to give you the right experience — no restart needed.

Switch Profile Anytime
You can now change your profile type at any time from your account settings. Open the account menu, find the "Switch Profile" row, and tap Pilot or Traveler. A quick confirmation keeps it from being an accidental tap. Your flight data is never affected — only the app experience changes.

Bug Fix: Traveler Sign-Ups
A timing issue was causing some new accounts registered as Traveler to be stored as Crew instead. This meant the wrong experience loaded — no toggle, but wrong fields visible, or vice versa. This is now fixed. Affected accounts have been corrected.

### 2.0.0 — 2026-03-24

Traveler Mode
Cabin Count now fully supports two distinct user types: Flight Crew/Pilots and Travelers. When signing up, you choose your profile — each unlocks a tailored experience built around how you actually use the skies.

For Travelers:

Log personal flights with origin, destination, date, notes, and photos
Track which US states you've landed in with an interactive map
Track countries and continents visited on the World map
Earn traveler-specific milestones: First Flight, First Hundred Miles, State Collector, Continent Hopper, and more
Clean, streamlined log form — no crew-specific fields cluttering your experience
Insights show Flights and Miles trends (no crew metrics)
For Pilots & Flight Crew:

New Work / Personal trip toggle on every flight entry
Work mode: full TSOB, passengers, and Crew Connect features
Personal mode: streamlined form matching the traveler experience, with "Travel Connect" replacing "Crew Connect" for sharing flights with friends
All existing crew features — scan-to-log, Fly Together, routes map, Souls insights — fully intact in Work mode
Profile & Account

Your profile type is now displayed as a badge in your account settings (globe for Traveler, airplane for Crew)
Delete account confirmation is now handled inline — no more native popups that don't work on all platforms
Profile type is reliably saved at registration, fixing a timing issue that could misclassify new Traveler accounts as Crew
Navigation

Travelers see a focused map experience: US States and World tabs only (Routes tab is a crew feature)
Insights are tailored per profile — Traveler accounts see clean Flights/Miles charts without crew-specific data
Bug Fixes

Fixed a race condition where new Traveler accounts were sometimes stored as Crew in the database
Fixed async pilot-load timing in Map and Insights tabs that could briefly show the wrong view
Inline delete confirmation now works correctly on web and mobile previews

### 1.3.2 — 2026-03-22

Release Notes — v1.3.2
Bug Fixes

State map not updating after logging flights — The US state map now correctly reflects newly logged, edited, or deleted flights immediately. Previously, a state could appear missing even when a flight to that destination had been saved (e.g., Arizona not highlighted after logging a PHX flight).
World map not updating after logging flights — The same fix applies to the world/country map. Countries are now recalculated whenever flights are added, edited, or deleted.
Security — Updated an internal dependency (flatted) to address a reported vulnerability.

### 1.3.1 — 2026-03-21

World Map
Track every country you've flown to with a new World Map tab. Your visited countries fill in as you log flights, joining the existing Routes and US States views.

Map Export
Export your US States or World Map as a CSV spreadsheet or PNG image to save and share your coverage.

Crew Connect
Starting a flight, joining a crew member, or inviting someone to the app is now one tap — the three options appear directly on the screen without an extra menu step. Crew invites now include a referral code field during sign-up so new members are automatically linked to you when they create their account.

App Updates
The app now checks for updates on launch. Critical updates will prompt you to visit the App Store before continuing.

Bug Fixes & Improvements
Fixed a duplicate title bug when sharing journal entries
Social sharing (Facebook, X) now copies your stats to clipboard automatically before opening
