## What is CABLE Util?

The CABLE (Convert ANT to BLE) is a revolutionary stand alone device which converts ANT+ sensor products into industry standard Bluetooth Smart connections.
The ANT+ data is then available in any application capable of consuming Bluetooth Smart profile data for: 
• Heart Rate
• Bike Power (All Types)
• Bike Speed & Cadence
• Running Speed & Cadence
• Fitness Equipment (Bike Trainer, Treadmill, Rower, Climber, Cross, Trainer)

Full control of a FE-C enabled ANT+ trainer via BLE FTMS (Fitness Machine Service) supported apps.

This is the only stand-alone ANT+ to Bluetooth Smart converter on the market.

The CABLE also operates as a security device when attached to an object.  When the security mode is enabled your phone will alert you if someone moves the object.  Perfect for the coffee rides with your friends.

This used to work really well but the Jan/Feb 20 firmware update seems to have broken it. The app now won’t recognise the device properly. Have tried new batteries but no luck. A shame as it was a very useful bit of kit.

This has just stopped working. 
The app can no longer but up my cable. Really frustrating as we’ve only has it a few months. Can you sort this out ASAP. 
I’ve done a battery change and a reinstall, nothing works.

I connect the cable to my garmin speed and cadence sensors to use my spin bike with zwift. Worked great until the last update now my speed drops to 0 randomly a few times each session. Annoying. Please fix!

Used to convert heart rate ant + so compatible with iOS for Zwift on an iPad. Finds sensors quickly & reliably but interface into iOS more problematic & have to keep exiting Zwift to restart / check Cable. No on / off functionality so burns through batteries as keeps auto connecting with iPhone - hard to use Zwift companion when on the bike as wants to switch from iPad to iPhone. Once set up works well but annoying the takes away from ride time fiddling with it at start of each ride.

I use Garmin HR strap and an ipad pro for zwift, the CABLE adapter works seamlessly for me, no problems, just better experience on zwift. Needed new battery out of box, after that it has worked with no issues. Detailed instructions & good support!

Works flawless until about 2 hours 45 mins into ride then for some reason it stops transmitting.

Done 2 rides this week and both resulted in the above..

This device and its app fill a glaring gap for a specific group of people. 
In my case most of my fitness sensors are ANT+ and with Zwift Bluetooth connectivity was needed in limited scenarios. I usually use Zwift with ANT+ on my MacBook so no need there. But for apps like Rouvy on the iPad or when I use my Apple TV or when I run at the gym this app and device helped me to continue to use the sensors I like. 
With 2 profiles one for cycling and another for running it solved my issues. I purchased a Wahoo HR for BT broadcast but I never liked the comfort of the device. I always preferred Garmin. Garmin now has dual HR but I don’t need to buy that. 
I connect my Vector 2, my HR and my foot pod to it.

We have heard from some of you that your control of your trainers has gone away.  It seems the CABLE took the summer off from the indoor trainer just like you did.  Well, the FW update for CABLE included in this release will bring that life back into your device.

We have also heard from some of you that your trainer has the app continually interested in performing a spin-down.  We have grown tired of that as well so we have convinced the app to only let you know once.  

Some users have told us that their Schwinn bikes indicate they are still pedaling when they are coasting.  This update to CABLE will help to get your avatar in Zwift to match what you are actually doing in your basement.

If you have not heard, XERT has recently announced full integration with the CABLE for sensor management to include the Garmin Bike Radar.  This is the first bike console app to fully integrate the CABLE for bringing ANT+ sensors into the smart phone platforms.  This FW update will allow full support for the XERT implementation.
