For sure I’ve been using it for much more than 10 years and I Love it. When I’ve had questions or needed instructions a short email to them and a quick response was assured. OK, what would I like to see different; Only these items; Have their storage look more like “contacts” that Apple offers. In fact, if cache Vault developers contacted Apple and asked Apple to have option to click on that stored certain aspects of a “Contact” in “Cache Vault”, that would make life easier for me. (I wouldn’t have to make a double set of info in each APP) Or maybe do a copy paste?? Also, if Possible, just a list of passwords for named Vendors, not all the other stuff. But, even if my wishes can’t be forthcoming I will continue to use “Cache Vault” as I feel it it is secure and very easy to use. It isn’t n the App Store search and on my last iOS update it was crashing. Luckily cache Vault pointed out the app should be in my purchase list. When I restored it was updated. My last concern was resently overcome. The app added a search feature. I needed this since I have over two hundred passwords stored. My next wish is someway to export the passwords, encrypted in a format that I can open in other than Cache Vault. My fingerprint unlocks my iPhone but it will not unlock this app. Other then that, it's an excellent app. Easy to use. Very straight forward. With so many passwords, it is wonderful to keep all my passwords and software keys in one place. Being old-school, I would like to have the ability to print everything I have on Cache Vault so I can put it in a safe. For now, I make sure I transfer my records between my iPad and IPhone, and store a copy of the transfer file on my computer. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Upgrade lockout *2018-10-22, version 4.1* Upgraded from iPhone 5 to iPhone 7 and now I cannot get the passcode to work anymore but the information still there if I can figure out how to open it this app is a rip off and anybody who pays for it is just throwing their money down the drain they do not respond to any advice to try to unlock your cache vault so when you upgrade you will lose everything save your money and don’t buy this rip off ### 1/5 — Crashing *2015-12-16, version 2.0* My app keeps crashing not allowing me to get in. I have removed and reinstalled it and it is still doing the same. I have been using this app for such a long time. I don't have the heart to find all my passwords and re-enter them again. Last time I had to change most of my passwords just so I could retrieve them. It took days. When I tried opening the app yesterday, a blank screen appeared. It lost all of my data. Customer support did not know why. Their procedure to recover my data did not work. Furthermore, they did not respond to my last email. It wasn’t in the App Store search and when I update d to IOS 17, it was crashing. Luckily cache Vault pointed out the app should be in my purchase list. Luckily I had it on my iPad as well and made sure not to update the iPad. I’ve been looking for a way to export the data in a way I can have it unencrypted to import into a new app. I’ve had to take screen shots of entries to now have to manually add. So I was happy to see it reappear in the Apple Store and downloaded it back into my iPhone so finally I can update my iPad. I would still like the developer to provide a way to export to another format since now I am seriously worried about losing all my entries (over 1000). I love that I can put a new password in my iPhone and then email a copy to me iPad. That keeps everything up to date. Only negative is that it won’t auto alphabetical new entries. You have to do that manually.
