## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.6.3 — 2026-08-28

Happy summer, we hope you're enjoying time away from your phone.

We have a couple of features to tell you about:

First is "Set in stone", or hard mode, but we prefer "Set in stone". As you might already have imagined, the feature lets you lock a rule against deleting — or any other loosening. Now there's almost no way out, almost.

"Set in stone" works retroactively, meaning you can apply it to your existing rules.

Thanks to Benjamin for the ask — we hope it works out for you.

Second feature is "Add websites". Apple's picker only takes you so far, so now you can add any website yourself: type in a domain, tap one of the usual suspects, or flip on the 18+ filter and call it a day. You'll find it behind the little plus button when picking what to block — and in Safari's share sheet, for when a site catches you red-handed.

Beyond that, we've been tidying the place: the home screen wears a new header, and the ⋯ menu grew into a proper sheet — about, contact, app icons, all in one spot. Nothing new to learn, just nicer to visit.

That's it from us.

### 1.4.1 — 2026-07-22

Couple of bugs fixes and some notable improvements:

Now you can request your first break of the day without having to do anything, but the catch is that the more your request breaks, the lenghtier the quote to type will be.

Vacation mode is no more a dedicated more but rather a preference of always-on or scheduled blocking

### 1.4 — 2026-07-13

Couple of bugs got zapped and the blocking screen has some nice background blur.

### 1.3 — 2026-06-28

Vacation mode is here. Block apps and websites for couple of days or weeks.

### 1.2 — 2026-05-25

Thanks to Laura for the inspiration and guidance, this version brings a new Always-on mode for rules.

Building that new mode was a good occasion to improve the card design on the Home tab and a new button that lets you easily share Cactus with your loved ones.
We're grateful for all kind words and feedback that we've received. And Laura, if you're reading this, thank you again!
