They also changed your points to expire after a certain amount of time, which I get I guess to a point. The whole app is a joke now. The app went offline for almost 4 months and now my 50,000 points I have are worth $5.13. I can’t even withdraw my funds either. The app claims that they know about it and are working on a fix, but I’ve been seeing that message for over 2 weeks now. I’m planning on withdrawing when it’s fixed and deleting my account. I really enjoyed your app. I loved that it was another way to earn a little bit of extra cash just by linking a few accounts and sharing a little bit of data and most importantly sharing data safely and securely. Over the course of several different months this year you have completely shut down your app. After signing in it just shows the image of an emoji type guy wearing a safety hat saying you guys are working on a few things for the app and will be back soon. This also occurred another time or two before this time. It was maybe out of service a couple months then you were back but only for a brief period of time then poof shut down and gone without warning again. Which was kind of a bummer because I was only a few days of points away from redeeming. It also is a bummer the whole time you guys have the app out of service we Caden users are not accruing any points or given even a small points bonus/incentive for staying a loyal Caden user patiently waiting for your return. I also understand us users are not entitled to pay/compensation from you. But to me, sharing any sort of data and trusting that the people/services will keep it private, safe, and only do what they stated they would with ONLY the specific types of data they stated to collect and use. It is a bit unnerving and worrisome the creators of Caden can just up and close up shop (shut down the app) whenever you please without notice to your users. The app has been shut down out of service more months than it has been up and running this year. It will be a whole new year in less than a week. It came back up for a couple weeks with a changed point system whereas 1000 points went from being equal to $10 down to it being equal to $1. Then it shut down again and it’s been like 8 months!! Now, however the app has been in maintenance mode for the past four or five months with no activity, and if you try to go to their website or any kind of support, the website gives you a 404 error, and is inactive. I don’t believe this app will function again, which is really sad, because it showed what a fraction of how much companies make off your data, dispersed to you. Imagine how much you would make off ALL of your data.
