I was going to choose “monthly subscription” plan if I could. But being that I couldn’t place an image map on one of the surfaces of my product, I couldn’t make use of this program and I had to cancel my free trial. I had a problem with a sphere rendered into the app, it came out a crumpled sphere. Ni siquiera agregan mas texturas. Buscare otras opciones….. no respetan el costo para estudiantes 😡 ### 1/5 — Alto precio *2023-06-29* Es muy cara la aplicacion, en la web dice que la puede probar gratis pero cuando tocas el boton te envia al Apple Store y es paga a los que los desarrolladores te responden “tenemos una version de estudiantes” aun asi sigue siendo cara y mas para un estudiante. Si la aplicacion fuera para comprar a un precio razonable creo que llegaria a mas gente. This said, it’s pointless to use it for showing a product to a client without even a starting setting of shadows. Where are common settins like ambient occlusion, global illumination, caustics, on-ground shadows? How could a render made with this app be useful if all the volumes of the product are flats and inconsistents? And please…please.. give the user the ability to turn on or off the post effects like glow (and something to tweak here too). Sad, I was very impressed by this app. Hope in the future would have more advanced options for designers. App is not at a level that can justify the cost. Hope they get addressed in the next update. ### 3/5 — very limited app *2024-04-19, version 3.2.0* I was surprised that you can't edit the materials and rendering quality didn't seem great. No lighting options, and the different hdris didnt seem to affect lighting much. I'm much more impressed with rendering in Nomad Sculpt. A couple of stars for at least offering a free trial. Sadly the hobbled nature of iOS and the apps available makes an iPad version of pro tools like Keyshot seem very far away. Even Adobe hasn't made a decent iPad version of Photoshop. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Superb *2024-11-30* Even though Shapr3D has followed in the footsteps of Cadmio and implemented its own excellent and comprehensive visualization module, I still find Cadmio adds a powerful heft to my design process. Its camera features really give me a presentation option I just can’t get out of Shapr3D, and saves me having to jump into Blender or Unreal Engine to do a full render, whhen all I require is a visual. The options, and the textures and tones look fantastic and I often get complimented on work that looks like it took far more effort than was actually the case. ### 5/5 — Con mucho potencial *2023-04-12, version 2.16.0* Si revisan el tema de agregar texturas y escenarios, para vestir productos con artes sería súper!! Marvellous partner app to Shapr3D The development of being able to add your own materials makes it an essential tool for designing on the go. It’s good to quickly show an idea to a client, without having to waste time rendering. Real 3D work flow on the go is possible. *2021-08-16, version 1.0.1* Quickly transforming 3D Cad files (step) into useful mockups used to require hauling out the computer and firing up Blender and Fusion360. No more. I can do quick and dirty - actually not so dirty- renderings and I’ve turned out a handful of finished client work straight from an iPad. I use this with Shapr3dD to make useful real world models all while sitting in an airplane or in a beach chair. It’s honestly great. I truly wished they had a one time purchase option but will gladly pay monthly if they continue to add scenes and materials and expand the lighting offerings and tweaks. An expert mode would be amazing- something to control transparency, individual lights, and different camera lenses and formats.
