AVOID THEM *2026-01-21* ‎These people are just a bunch of LIARS, THIEVES, and CRIMINALS! 😡 I tried using their platform to receive payment for a remote job and was supposed to get €550 back in November. They’ve been dragging their feet and won’t send my money since the 10th. After waiting forever, they told me to be patient for 60 days before I could get my money. Now, it’s been over 60 days plus, and they’re still yet to send the so-called link to request my alternate IBAN. The excuses are piling up. Everyday one lie or another. Seriously, do yourself a favor and stay away from these guys! AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS! ❌🚩🚩 **Developer response:** Hi Nuel, Please note that this issue occurred due to factors beyond our control, involving an unsupported third-party Euro deposit and a closed account. In line with our policy, refunds to closed accounts are processed after 60 days. However, an unexpected delay occurred due to a restriction on the originating account. Once the restriction was lifted, the funds were returned to the source, as we are unable to hold funds. It even actually cost me N3.12 less than the pre-transaction conversion estimate. #2 The FREE transaction was completed extremely timely - minutes neared almost an hour it seemed BUT my first transaction today was even done on a u.s. federal banking holiday!!!!!!!!!!! #3 The account setup and verification and transfer request took less than 10 minutes!!!!! #4 Response from Costumer Support was so lightning fast and simply reassuring I initially feared it was fake (so I sent ANOTHER 2-3 emails within only 25 minutes, Shame on me!!!) #4 I don’t know HOW this app is not yet lauded tremendously …my guess is because CadRemit is such an HONEST company that they don’t choose to easily pay someone to write hundreds/thousands of fake positive reviews!!! Even when you transact immediately after you got the campaign, the effective rates are nothing as advertised! ### 1/5 — Absolutely disappointing *2026-06-22, version 3.0.20* My funds got stuck while trying to transfer to a Naira account. Kept getting prompt that proxy was detected! I had to go through a proper tech lesson to get money transferred out. Poor experience on the first try and definitely won’t advise anyone to try this! Absolute rubbish, considering I have used Lemonade for years and thought to give another start up a chance. ### 1/5 — if you want peace of mind *2026-06-12, version 3.0.18* do not use anything but the CAD and Naira options. if you do, while using the exact details they provide for your ‘virtual account’ you will not be able to receive any money you transfer into that account, and when you contact customer service they will not do anything for you. they will send you the same reply over and over again, trying to make it out to be your fault, but you will repeat the transaction to another platform (not theirs) and it will work perfectly fine. protector your peace and sanity and strictly deal with CAD and NGN alone on this platform. those work fine, except the absurd CAD to CAD transfer charge. i suggest transferring your naira to LEMFI and loosing a couple cents than paying that charge. ### 1/5 — CadRemit is a scam *2026-01-11, version 2.5.9* I made a deposit and had to wait 24 hours for them to review. They said there was an issue with their system and that they were going to return the payment. They returned the payment to a different account and a different amount. I need a proof of payment to enable me to get my payment, since the reversal is from a different address. Hate that I have to use a password everytime on my bank app while sending money to my CADREMIT app. Disappointing that not all deposits are permitted, has to be a minimum of $20. Shouldn’t have such restrictions especially for an app that’s still increasing its clients portfolio. I had to cancel several of them getting charged 3.00 each time. I spoke with your customer service and they placed blame on my bank. I called my bank and asked for push but they tried and couldn’t cuz it was completed it was your app that didn’t update it in a timely manner. 22.00 deposited today after 12 hours of waiting for the deposit.
