CadRoam: 3D CAD Viewer

Open engineering models where the work happens. CadRoam is a private 3D CAD viewer for iPhone, iPad and Mac, built for fast model review away from the workstation. OPEN AND INSPECT - Import models directly from Files - Orbit, pan and zoom a responsive 3D scene - Browse, hide and isolate objects in multi-part models - Review bounds, triangle count, surface area and enclosed volume when available - Switch wireframe, transparency, axes, grid, bounding box and orthographic views PRIVATE BY DESIGN Model geometry is processed locally. CadRoam does not upload model contents to a developer-operated conversion service, requires no account and includes no third-party advertising, analytics or tracking SDK. CAMERA AR AND REPORTS On supported iPhone and iPad devices, CadRoam Pro places compatible geometry on detected surfaces with Apple ARKit. Choose fitted scale or source units, then move, rotate and resize the model. Generate a compact inspection PDF locally and share it with system tools. The CAD viewer, inspection tools and local model library are free. An optional one-time CadRoam Pro Lifetime purchase unlocks camera AR and PDF report export. No subscription. CURRENT FORMAT SUPPORT - Binary and ASCII STL - Indexed OBJ with objects and groups - Faceted STEP geometry and metadata General curved B-Rep STEP and IGES files may expose metadata without visible renderable geometry in version 1.0. CadRoam states this limitation clearly and is not a certified metrology system.
