Not just the credit card info but the entire order. The 4X bonus offer isn’t shown in checkout screen so I went back to app’s Home Screen to click and add the bonus coupon to the order. This action caused the app to change my pick up location to the closest restaurant to me at that moment (not my local restaurant) without me noticing it. I went ahead, paid, and submitted it. When I arrived at local Cafe Rio, that’s when I found out they didn’t get my order and learned location got changed without me noticing it. This needs to stop. Remove all automated change!!!!! ### 1/5 — Can’t redeem offer *2026-05-16, version 8.35.2* Downloaded the app and received a $10 burrito/drink offer for doing so. But it shows as an invalid offer when I try to order just a burrito and a drink. Don’t offer it if you’re not willing to honor it!! However, while you can you your past orders in the app and even “save for later/favorite” orders, there is no way to actually add the saved order to your cart. So you have to duplicate the whole thing manually. Makes the whole experience frustrating and time consuming. Often choose not to go because of how difficult the ordering is for a pick up order ### 1/5 — Worst food app I have *2026-05-10, version 8.34.0* I have problems with this app every time I use it. If I want to order a salad, I have to first shrink my font so I can select that option. It never remembers my previous order. And they have the worst customer service. Would’ve been much shorter to wait in line and avoid the app altogether ### 1/5 — Ridiculous Issues *2026-08-23, version 8.37.2* There are some basic functions a food ordering app should have, that this one doesn’t. You can save favorite orders but there’s no way to actually add the saved order to your cart. So what’s the point of saving it?? You also can’t reorder previously ordered items. Also, I was checking out with a gift card and it showed there was a balance, but apparently that balance was wrong and the payment didn’t go through. Instead of allowing me to change the payment it just got rid of my entire order and I had to completely start again. It will not allow you an option to comment to remove anything either. A pop up will appear that says my email needs to be verified. I click confirm and the pop up appears again. Killing the app doesn’t help. The card works on everything else and I tried using the app months ago and it still wouldn’t work. Apple Pay doesn’t work and neither does putting in my card manually. It’s a shame because my work is right next to a cafe rio and I would love to go there often for lunch but it would take too long for them to prep it during my break which is why I order ahead of time. The App is fast, intuitive, informative, eye pleasing, and has so many great features that it blows away the competition. Like this great app, the staff at each of the Cafe Rio’s I have visited are on the ball for customer service as they interface with users of the Cafe Rio app. The Cafe Rio menu is extensive and the app reflects the many available choices very well. AND … the app allows a diner to save their favorite entree, drink, or combination thereof for a future reorder. 5-Star!!! ### 5/5 — 20 min to close *2021-04-16, version 2.8* I rolled in all dirty and hungry from a baseball game and felt bad for walking in so close to closing time. The cashier and young man made me feel so welcome, he said “how dare you show up spending your hard earned money here, we are happy to make you anything you want.” That made me chuckle and took all the tension out of the air. I don’t know his name but he was obviously running the show and I wanted to give him some props. When I got to the window I realize that I didn’t have my wallet but I have my Apple Pay unfortunately they didn’t take Apple Pay. Unfortunately there was some plastic in the food that we had ordered. Instead of us going through the door Dash app we contacted Andrew the manager at the Franklin Road store in Boise. He was extremely apologetic and gave us $20 on our app and is trying to get our money back for us through door dash. I saw that I had a free entree reward that was about to expire so I made the last minute decision to get Cafe Rio for a late dinner (they only had a half hour before closing). I was greeted by, served by and rang up by all young and energetic staff busy doing their end of the night duties. It was quick, easy and friendly in addition to great food! Although I didn’t catch anyone’s name they were all great, especially the guy who rang me up - he threw in a free fountain drink as he wished me a happy Thanksgiving! The whole experience put a smile on my face and a pep in my step. I been coming here for years, all the employees know me and my order I get every time. I love the Grilled Chicken Tostada Salad with the shell on the side so it doesn’t get soggy and if you like a little spice don’t forget to ask for a Serrano pepper. The cilantro vinaigrette is a MUST! and of course the Limeade and that crushed ice is HEAVEN in every sip. The atmosphere is cool, I usually come around lunch time so it’s a little busy but the employees work really fast to serve your needs. I love it at Cafe Rio, I literally come here every week because there food is health, fresh, clean. ### 5/5 — Food is always fresh and staff is super nice *2019-01-13, version 1.3.4* Due to my kitchen remodeling and not being able to cook, I have been eating at Cafe Rio for several months almost daily. I like the variety and daily specials and have not been bored with the food at all. I have sensitive stomach and typically know right away if the food is acidic or full of preservatives. Having a lot of good food places in my neighborhood, I still end up coming to Cafe Rio daily. The staff is super friendly and treats you like a family. I really love the grill chicken anything because anything that they have on the menu taste awesome and even better with chicken. I was looking to the other reviews and I see a lot of complaints in regards to waiting, I say that if you’re not waiting at any restaurant for food you need to find another place because waiting means that people actually love the food and if you have to wait a little bit to get it you’re not going to starve to death.
