CanMog (formerly Caffeine Mog) is a collecting game for cans: soda, water, kombucha and energy drinks. It is about the can, not what is in it. Scan the barcode on any can to add it to your collection, earn points for new and rare finds, climb the ranks and compete with your friends. CanMog is a collection game. It does not promote or encourage caffeine consumption. Never drink caffeine, or more of it, to chase a rank or a streak. SCAN TO COLLECT Point your camera at the barcode on any can. It goes into your collection at once, with no typing. FOUR SHELVES Soda, Water, Kombucha and Energy. Each shelf has its own score, leaderboard and rare cans to hunt. Switch shelves in one tap. KNOW YOUR CANS Every can shows its caffeine content from the label data, so you know what is in it. Your stats show the cans you scanned, day by day. COLLECT RARE CANS Every new can earns points. Rarity, from Common to Legendary, comes from how many collectors own it. A hard-to-find can is rare because it really is rare. CLIMB THE RANKS Rise from Empty Shelf all the way to Hall of Cans. Your rank comes from the cans you collect. Each milestone opens your next rank crystal. GET SOCIAL See the new cans your friends find in the Feed and react to them. Compete on the collection leaderboard against everyone or only your friends, and join a clan. FLEX YOUR PROFILE Show your rank, score and collection on your profile, and share them with your friends. Caffeine figures come from label and crowdsourced data and can be wrong. Always check the can. Energy drinks are not recommended for children, teens, or people who are pregnant or sensitive to caffeine. This is not medical advice. CanMog Premium is an auto-renewable subscription. Monthly ($4.99) or Yearly ($29.99), billed to your Apple Account. Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account settings. Premium unlocks Apple Health insights, the subscriber crown, custom profile pictures, name and chat styling, clan customization, exclusive app icons, and points for duplicate scans. Says “no connection try again” **Developer response:** Sorry about that, "no connection, try again" usually means the scan request isn't reaching our server, not that your camera is broken. Try force-closing the app and reopening, and if you're on cellular, check that Caffeine Mog has permission under Settings → Caffeine Mog. If it's still failing, reply here or reach out through the support link on the App Store page with your username and I'll look at your account directly. I'd rather fix this than lose you over it. ### 5/5 — Genuinely great, improvements needed *2026-08-12* Great app as is, However, We need a seperate score apart from just the new drinks in our collections **Developer response:** Appreciate this. Just so I build the right thing: are you asking for a score based on your whole collection rather than only recent adds? That's a fair gap, right now the scoring leans too hard on new scans and doesn't reward people who've built up a real collection. Noting it for an upcoming update. ### 5/5 — Pretty dope *2026-08-09* Fun to collect energy drinks and level up. Love the social aspect and the ability to scan and take a picture of the drink. Only thing is I wish the amount of points given from each can and their rarity was preset by the devs rather than based on ratings of other people. I had a can that no one had rated so I could just rate it super high to make it legendary though it was very common. Still awesome and an awesome concept. **Developer response:** This is the most useful review I've gotten. Working on a fix so rarity needs a minimum number of ratings before it counts, with dev-set baselines for known drinks. Thanks for pointing at the actual hole instead of just calling it broken. ### 5/5 — Really Cool App *2026-08-04* Honestly I know the app sounds kinda silly but it is honestly fun to know what energy drinks i’ve had and I can see the memories attached with them because of the pictures i take. 10/10 I recommend **Developer response:** The photo thing was the part I wasn't sure anyone would care about, so hearing it's your favorite feature is great. Thanks for the 10/10. ### 5/5 — This app is amazing 🥹 *2026-07-05* I’ve always wanted an app like this and it’s a real thing now! I’m already on the leaderboard and I’m definitely recommending this to all my friends who collect drink cans! **Developer response:** Glad it exists too. It's people like you who care so much about the app that keeps me going! ### 5/5 — Fueling My Caffeine Addiction *2026-07-04* It fuels my caffeine addiction but also a great way to see reviews of drinks, track my caffeine intake, the healthiness of the drinks and I can see how much friends drink lol. **Developer response:** Ha thanks for the review. ### 2/5 — Slow *2026-07-04* The loading for searching your can is very slow, it would be better if you can scan the cans more than once but get lower scores if you scan it more than once. It seems kind of pointless when you have the same cans but they stop giving points after the first scan of it. It took away a lot of my energy drinks in my collection. **Developer response:** Hey, appreciate the detailed feedback, this is genuinely useful. The slow search is on me, I'm working on speeding up the scan/lookup so that'll get better in an update. On the repeat-scan thing: points are capped per can on purpose so people can't just farm the same drink over and over, but I hear you that hitting a dead zero feels bad. The diminishing-points idea is interesting and I'll think about how to do it without breaking the leaderboard. Thanks for actually taking the time to explain it. ### 3/5 — Saving Issue *2026-07-02* It has a fun concept but my energy drinks that I scan do not save after I close the app. **Developer response:** Hey, thanks for flagging this, you were right, scans weren't persisting after the app closed. That's fixed as of the latest update, so if you update to the newest version your collection should save properly now. Really appreciate you taking the time to report it, and sorry it tripped you up. If anything else acts up, let me know. ## Frequently asked questions about CanMog ### What is Caffeine Mog? Caffeine Mog is a free app that gamifies energy drink consumption.
