I gave it a 3 for its accuracy, but the fact that I have to leave the app site to do another size cake is a hassle. ### 5/5 — Must have for cakers!! *2014-02-17* This app has enabled me to do what normally would be a tedious task and turned it into something that's fast, accurate and fun! Really handy app and what a bargain-Highly recommended ### 5/5 — cake slicer app is perfect *2013-11-23* If your a cake decorator this is a very handy app to have and use. no more fiddling in your bag/wallet for a piece of paper or diary that has cake sizes scribbled on it whenever someone stops you in the shops or calls you up and wants to know there and then how big a cake would they need to feed 30 or 300 ppl or any other amount!. when I first saw the app I thought to myself... hmmm. could be just what I need ! so I bought it, when I realised it didn't have the 1"x1" serving size that is quite often used here in Australia for our fruit cake serving size at weddings mainly :) i contacted the makers of the program and asked them if it's possible to have it added into a future update and they agreed and said they would look into it for me! they have just emailed me tonight to let me know the new cake size I requested is in and for me to do the update for it! I am very impressed with the app now! and not sorry at all I bought it. what's a few bucks!! and it's just so handy to email yourself a copy of it.. and to be able to give out a printed copy of 'how to' cut the cake. that way I will not be held liable now when and if customers call back and say they didn't get enough serves because the cake was cut too big lol cheers! Any cake decorator worth their salt knows this already. Can’t get a refund (surprise, surprise), apple complaints just refers to developers. I used the app to determine size and pricing for my at-home cake business. I particularly loved the cake slicing guides and sent them to all my clients. The clients RAVED about this feature! Now, I open the app and the opening screen comes up and then nothing--just black screen. This is so disappointing! I paid for this app and would love for it to work again. It has been a blank black screen for weeks and I'm beyond frustrated I paid for such garbage. It lets you email it or you can take a screen shot. It’s based off of an average 4” high cakes and and provides you with every shape and slice size options. It has allowed me to be one very precise in my cake size planning. I recently had a problem with my app opening up. I contacted the app help desk via email. They replied with in 20 minutes!!! He told me to delete the app and re download it as with the new iOS updates sometimes the app has a clash. I did this and it was back up and working in minutes! Thank you for your fast and helpful service.
