Only one annoying thing - I can not see the interface and some basic functions until I purchase the app.
However the app worth it

It’s a far superior alternative to manual logging, saving time and increasing accuracy. Highly recommended for anyone looking to streamline their nutrition tracking!

### 5/5 — It catches everything

*2025-03-14, version 1.4.0*

When I have a quick meal at home and take a picture, this app tells me exactly what kinds of food it is and how many grams it weighs—so useful! I usually struggle to track calories because I don’t know the exact weight, but this makes it so much easier.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Really buggy

*2026-01-14, version 1.11.5*

The app is great when it actually works. Forever load times. Even when you open the app, it takes like four minutes before it allows you to upload anything.

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2025-08-30, version 1.11.0*

I can only scan anything 1 time per day so that being a meal and or barcode. And for me to scan everything I have to pay $6 a week, $13 a month, or 45 a year. All the adds say that it is free so I got it but clearly it’s not

### 1/5 — choose bitepal instead of

*2025-07-26, version 1.11.0*

honestly, i’m not happy because you have to pay for it. i would much rather an app that you don’t have to pay for. for me BitePal is much better as you don’t have to pay.

### 2/5 — Accurate but slow

*2026-04-09, version 1.12.4*

I log a few times with text every day like "110g baked potatoes and 110g boiled eggs", I can confirm the accuracy after cross validation with other tools. However, it takes a minute or two to load everytime I launch the app - it's too slow. Also, if my input gets too long, it'll have a higher chance showing me a JSON error and won't log or keep my input.

### 2/5 — I don’t like the limit on free scans

*2025-04-27, version 1.8.5*

I thought this was free, but no, it’s not after a few scans. You have to go to premium. I don’t know if it resets in the morning

### 3/5 — Really buggy

*2025-11-03*

The app is great when it actually works. Forever load times and just really bug buggy.

### 4/5 — Good concept

*2025-06-19, version 1.10.5*

I thought it was free, but I don’t want to pay money for it (even though it’s an amazing deal). So: I would rather there be ads so that it can be free for everybody AND maybe a paid version that gives premium features.

The reason I wrote it 4 star is cause you DO get one free scan a day and the concept is great, but 1 scan a day is NOT enough, I need at least 5 I would say.

Thanks
