## What is calc?

With CALC-O-SCOPE, your iPhone does a lot of the calculations for you.

You have the option of saving up to 4 different presets and calling them up again with a tap.

Here are some features:
- focal ratio
- magnification
-Light gathering ability
- Exit pupil (with warning)
- resolving power (with warning)
- min. magnification
- beneficial enlargement
- max magnification (with warning)
- moonphase (with calendar entry)
- julian date
- show UTC

If you wish, Calc-o-scope will show you your current position and help you align the telescope with a compass.

Also take a look at my calc-o-scope website (german). There you will find a way to equip your iPhone with a system-wide red filter with a triple click (no more flashed eyes if a message pops up).

It was a long pause. Now it can go on :-)

Fresh food for hungry stargazers.
New on the menu:

- Moon phase display with Liberation (many thanks to NASA!)
- Moon phase reminder can be entered in the standard calendar at the push of a button
- Display of UTC
- Display of sidereal time (GMST (0H))
- visual improvements (hopefully there are improvements :-)

And again some bugs were fixed and new ones added ;-)


I would like to translate the program into more languages.
There aren't many texts, but the web translator is not ideal.
So if someone wants to translate the texts in their own language: get in touch!
The translators can look forward to fame, honor and an entry in the "thank you" list :-)
