## What is CalcClash?

CalcClash is a pixel-art math drill that respects your time. There is no account, no feed, no daily-streak guilt trip — you open it, you answer cards, you see exactly how you did.

Two sides to it: a timed, scored side, and an untimed one for actually learning the facts.

PRACTICE
A timed run of multiple-choice flash cards. Four answers per card, +1 for a correct answer and -2 for a wrong one, so guessing costs you. Pick 30 or 60 seconds and one of four difficulties:

- Easy — addition and subtraction, numbers up to 5
- Medium — addition, subtraction and multiplication, numbers up to 9
- Hard — all four operations, including division
- Dynamic — starts easy and moves the ladder with you, stepping up after five correct in a row and back down after three wrong

ADVENTURE
The same arithmetic, as a boss fight against SixSeven. Every correct answer is an attack, and damage scales with your answer streak, so a long clean run hits far harder than scattered right answers. The boss swings back every six seconds whether you are ready or not. Twenty hit points for you, thirty for it. Pick your hero and find out whether you can out-calculate it.

LEARN
No timer, no score, nothing recorded. This is the side for building the facts rather than testing them.

- Flash cards that work like the real thing. The question faces up. You think. You turn the card over, and then you decide whether you knew it. AGAIN puts a card back in the pile; GOT IT retires it, and the deck is done when it empties. There is no multiple choice anywhere in Learn — picking between four numbers tests recognition, and turning a card over tests recall.
- Pick a deck: any single times table from the 1s to the 9s, mixed multiplication, addition, subtraction, division, or everything at once.
- A times table you press. All eighty-one facts on one screen, each square showing its own question. Hold one down to see the answer and let go to hide it again, the way the wooden toy works — or switch on KEEP REVEALED and try to uncover the whole board.

AFTER EVERY TIMED RUN
Score, correct, wrong, accuracy and cards per minute — the numbers that tell you whether you are actually getting faster. Your best five practice scores are kept on a local leaderboard, alongside lifetime totals for sessions, cards answered and overall accuracy. Clear the whole history whenever you want.

BUILT TO BE PLAYABLE
- Press Start 2P pixel typography and hand-composed sprite animation
- Sound effects for correct, wrong, countdown and game over
- A reduced-motion setting that every effect in the game honours
- Large touch targets and accessible names on every control
- Works completely offline

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
No advertising. No in-app purchases. No account, no login, no cloud sync. No analytics and no tracking of any kind. Everything you play stays on your device, and deleting the app deletes all of it.

If you want to support development there is an optional Ko-fi link in Settings. Nothing in the app is locked behind it.
