## What is Calcly Calculator?

A calculator that keeps its receipts.

Every calculation you make is saved. The number you worked out this morning is still there this afternoon — tap any line in the history to use it again, instead of retyping it and hoping you remember correctly.

WHAT IT DOES

• The arithmetic you expect, with the precision you would hope for
• A history you can scroll and tap to reuse
• Scientific keys — roots, powers, logs, trigonometry
• Unit conversion for length, weight, volume and temperature
• Tip and bill splitting, worked out from the number already on screen
• Light and dark, following your phone
• Haptics that make the keys feel like keys

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT

Calcly has no account and no analytics. Your calculations stay on your device and are never sent anywhere. It works with no network at all.

CALCLY PRO

The basics are free, forever. Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks the scientific keys, unlimited history, the conversion and tip tools, and every theme. No subscription, nothing to cancel, and it restores on every device signed in to your Apple ID.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.5 — 2026-09-05

Convert, Tip and Discount now sit on the calculator screen as buttons of their own, and each opens with the number already on the display — which you can now edit without going back. Cooking conversions know that a cup of flour and a cup of honey do not weigh the same. Also fixes the display being cut off on smaller iPhones.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-08-27

Pro now converts units — length, weight, volume and temperature — and works out a tip and a split bill, each on its own button next to the history. Calcly is also now in German, Spanish, French, Japanese, Hebrew and Arabic, and uses the decimal separator your region actually writes.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-08-26

Free history now keeps your last 25 calculations instead of 3, so the history is useful before you decide whether Pro is worth it.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-22

Fixes a wrong price shown on the Pro screen in some regions, and tidies up a few rough edges in the history list.

### 1.0 — 2026-08-21

No release notes.
