When using the app in “ONE LINE MODE” you cannot use multiple, more than one, non-integer* numbers in an equation. In the “SCIENTIFIC MODE” this type of arithmetic works just fine. So you can still use the app for these types of equations, you simply must choose the proper calculator mode. This calculator app has 2 modes, ONLINE MODE & SCIENTIFIC MODE, as stated above. There are also NO advertisements whatsoever, which is huge for me and I know for most. *Non-Integer Number(s) - A number that is not a whole number, a negative whole number or zero. It is any number not included in the integer set, which is expressed as {... -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, ...}. ### 2/5 — Crash *2020-03-18, version 1.2.5* Glad I didn’t pay for this crashed 3 times. Over and over. ### 1/5 — This doesn't add up... pun intended *2017-11-09, version 1.2.5* MathStudio, Math 42, Calculator by MyScript are just 3 of many calculators that I would consider superb or excellent calculators. I'm giving it a 1 star because I don't like it when Devs upvote their own app or have their buddies do it. By the way, i can't find how to run this calc in split screen. Here are some of the things that I found easier or better on other calcs. 1. Interacting with history is much easier than this one. 2. Others have more functions. 3. This one, I can't do 5+5+5 if I want unless I go into scientific mode and then I lose other functions. Overall, I would go with MathStudio or Math 42. Calculator by MyScript is very nice if you like writing out your calculations. You can even do things like 5 x ? = 35 and it will tell you 7. It handles fractions and memory just fine. If you use AppSliced at appsliced dot co (no m after co), you can set an alert to let you know when the pro version is free which handles history and other things very nicely. Math 42 is perfect if you are a student or helping your child with homework. You can put in a calculation or a function and ask it to show you all of the steps. Very useful. Also handles a ?. When someone starts talking about a new era of calculators, they need to actually see what's out there. AppSliced is very useful if you are interested in finding calculators or any other paid app for free. It lets you see the price change history as well as let you know the cheapest an app has been on sale and you can set it to alert you when a price changes to something you are willing to spend for an app. For example, if you see an app that is 4.99 and you are willing to buy it if it ever goes on sale for 99¢ or free, you choose the drop down and set the price. If the app goes on sale and is free sometimes, you can set it for "Free" and it will only alert you when the conditions have met your selection, unlike other similar apps that notify you every time there is a change. I have nothing to do with AppSliced other than using it and loving it. Great way to find apps. ### 1/5 — Poor *2017-11-08, version 1.2.5* Sorry I like the idea of a nice clean view, but it needs to function. The % button cause the app to close every time and it has now frozen totally. I note that there is two choices when it comes up, one of which is something along the lines of, “I don’t like it”. After clicking on that the window asking you to rate the app before you can use it seems to have stopped the pop-up window.
