But after restarting the phone all the old notes came back and it worked as usual. I use CalcMadeEasy all the time and love it. The Notes function is very helpful: you can save more than one note, for example, to store numbers and equations, with text. Everything else I use a handheld graphing calculator for. This is the only calculator app I am willing to install to my personal devices because of its reasonable privacy practices. Now there is a bug in the home loan app. You cannot compute the output. ### 3/5 — Notes aren’t keeping the data anymore! *2021-02-16, version 8.1* Earlier, whatever math operation you’re doing, it was noted and you can come back and review it in the notes section. Last few months and since the last update, the notes aren't keeping nor recording any more the calculations; further next time you use the application, the notes reset its contents and found blank. I made an in app purchase for the finance calculator which was working very well. I recently upgraded to iOS 14.4 and now when I put the data into the finance app and hit calculate, the app just shuts down. Would like someone to look into that. This app came just at the right time. It is an excellent calculator. I highly recommend it. Keeps a chronological text record which is easy to track. ### 2/5 — Useless after the last upgrade *2020-12-12, version 8.0* I used this calculator for years, mostly as a checking account register - thanks to the Notes option. Lately, however, it kept crashing in the middle of a calculation, which would lose all the info and prompt me to start all over. I hoped that this latest upgrade would fix it, but it made it much worse! It now stubbornly erases my notes, and (can it be??) shuffles them out of order... it also “drops” the latest number/amount entered, thus rendering it pretty much useless for my purposes. I thought it was because I selected “no Cloud,” so I changed my selection to “yes, store entries on Cloud” and it made absolutely no difference. Before leaving this review, I tried to contact tech support, but the button inside of the app is deemed as non-functional. There seem to be no option for support in the App Store either.
