## What is Calculated Cakes?

Calculated Cakes will help you find the perfect cake for any occasion or any client. Quickly view different tier combinations, find cutting guides, serving counts, and more. 

App Features:
• Calculate the perfect cake for any occasion, whether you're looking for stacked tiers, or individual cakes
• Build or edit cakes manually in the Stacker with tiers, dummy tiers, boards, and columns (columns require a Pro upgrade)
• View and edit your cakes with support for changing colors, offsetting tiers, and rotatable tiers
• View your cakes in augmented reality! (iOS device with a minimum of an A9 processor required)
• Get automatic calculations of fondant amounts needed for any cake or cake board
• View and share cutting guides for all of your cakes in either Straight-Cut, or the more traditional Concentric-Cut styles
• Customize the settings of the app to suit your needs as a cake professional or home user


Calculated Cakes is available in three different levels:
Free: 
• Includes Square and Sheet cake shapes, cake boards, and all editing capabilities for these shapes
• Contains serving charts, fondant amounts, and cutting guides for ALL shapes that the app supports in the Pro version. So you can still get the info you need even in the Free level.

Basic (upgrade required):
• Includes Round, Square, and Sheet cake shapes
• Adds a History tab for viewing previous cakes
• Removes the upgrade tab

Pro (upgrade required):
• Includes Round, Square, Heart, Hexagon, Oval, Petal (in 5, 6, and 8-petal varieties), and Sheet cake shapes
• Adds cake columns, available from 1 to 10 columns, and any number in between
• Adds a mixed-shape stacked calculator for calculating cakes with multiple tier shapes
• Automatically gets upgraded with any new Pro features that get added in future versions

Not super user friendly, but it has the features I was looking for. Tried it out with the 1 day subscription (nice option, btw). I’m considering the full year now that I had a chance to check out all the features. My main concern is app support since nothing has been updated in 4 years. Calculates price, serving guides, suggested tier combinations, cake visualizations! Fantastic!

I use the app for a year and love it, after I paid to renew I was no able to use, it keep asking for upgrade, contact Apple they said payment went through to contact developer directly, no able to contact developer of fix the problem.

I originally purchased this app for around $10 and used it often. One random day the software would not work with a new iOS update, and it forced you to pay an exorbitant amount for a “subscription” to access the same content you previously paid for. While day passes are available, it’s frustrating that to be charged more for the same previously bought information- especially without warning those who already paid.

The app is good, however I bought the $35 upgrade.  It was great for a couple days and then the upgrade features disappeared and there’s no way to contact anyone to say hey, I paid for a year upgrade that only lasted a couple days.

I just purchased the $15.99 for 1 year and excited cuz it shows me the round cakes which I do a lot.. but unfortunately when I exit to answer a text and came back my purchase is not there and they want me to purchase another year for the round cakes that I already did.. not cool.. don’t if I can get my money.. so frustrating

I had been using the app for over a year, and it was time to renew. When I tried to renew for 39.99, the system did not provide me my update. It was like a glitch occurred, and it kept going back to upgrade. I emailed support, and I got nothing. I think the developer has abandoned this app.

I absolutely loved the original app. It was amazing and so very easy to use, although this one is ok, I much prefer the way the old one operated. I don’t want to discourage the app maker as I am hoping that he reviews all the reviews and finds a way of merging and fixing people’s concerns. I have to problem paying for awesome apps that can help get the work done.
