## What is Calculation Triangle?

This virtual manipulative encourage the development of flexible arithmetic thinking.

A calculation triangle is splited into three fields. Each field can contain tokens. On each edge the sum of the two corresponding fields is written. 
And this is how it works:

Touch with you fingers on a field to produce tokens and move them from one field to another.

Move tokens out of the triangle to delete them.

Close the shutter to hide a field.

If you swipe over a number you can hide it or show it again.

Shake the calculation triangle to emty it.


This virtual manipulative does not include tasks. But you can use this app to create puzzle problems for a learning partner or to model and solve existing tasks. Here are some exemples for good tasks to effectively work with this app:

Find the missing numbers?

Figure out how many tokens are on the hidden field?

How do the numbers change, if you ...
... add/remove one (two, three, ...) token to each field?
... move one (two, three, ...) token from one field to another?
... add one token to two of the three fields?
...

Is it possible to have three odd numbers? Why (not)?
Is there a relationship between the sum of the numbers and the total quanitiy of tokens on the fields?
Is it possible to produce any numbers or are there restrictions?

### 2/5 — Simpel, aber nur ikonisch und additiv, symbolisch für Zahlenraum >20 und Multiplikation fehlt.

Nur für die erste Klasse bzw. Zahlenraum 20. Schön optisch simpel und gut zu bedienen. Leider keine Umstellung auf symbolische Innenzahlen möglich, ebensowenig auf multiplikative Außenzahlen.

Allerdings von der Handhabung nicht so ideal, da man leider nicht so recht erforschen kann. Das Löschen der Punkte ist auch nicht ideal. Vielleicht kann man das ein wenig besser gestalten. 

Wünschenswert wäre, dass es z.B. auch Aufgabenformat gibt, die mit den passenden Zahlen und die Kids müssen herausfinden, wie viel Punkte gelegt werden müssen.

Doch das brauchen viele!!
Zumindest Grundschulmathelehrer. Hier kann vieles so einfach entdeckt werden, was sonst mühselig in unendlich vielen Skizzen oder mit Plättchen gelegt werden musste.
Hier kann mit den passenden Aufgaben ganz toll visualisiert und selbst erforscht bzw geknobelt werden. 

Auch das ein tolles Programm für Grundschüler.

 Keine Lesekompetenz erforderlich, was schon mal spitze und leider zu selten ist!! Danke

Zu simplen ausfüllen von Aufgaben gibt es doch schon genug und da tut es auch das einfachste Arbeitsblatt. Das ist doch hier auch gar nicht gewollt.

Wer sich mit Rechendreiecken und den Zusammenhängen von Zahlen in Rechendreiecken beschäftigen möchte, für den ist diese App toll. 
Es ist - wie in der Beschreibung genannt - keine App mit der sich Kinder alleine beschäftigen können. Sie brauchen gezielte Aufgaben für Rechendreiecken von außen, wie in der Beschreibung der App auch toll genannt sind. 
Und dann können tolle Entdeckungen gemacht werden.

In der App-Beschreibung wird deutlich beschrieben, dass es sich bei der App um ein virtuelles Arbeitsmittel handelt und bewußt keine Übungen beinhaltet, da die App als Werkzeug zum Lösen von Rechendreiecken auf Arbeitsblättern oder im Mathematikbuch eingesetzt werden kann zusammen mit herausfordernden Aufgabenstellungen.

Kann mich den anderen Rezensionen nicht anschließen. Ich halte das Rechendreieck für ein sinnvolles Tool. Es ist zwar kein in dem Sinne vollständiges Programm um die Kinder stundenlang zu bespassen, aber für das Geld ein gelungene Lerntool wenn man sich mit Rechendreiecken beschäftigt.
