## What is Calculator of Formulas?

This app is focused on calculating and graphing mathematical formulas for everyday life and work. What distinguishes it from many other RPN calculators available at the App Store? Some of them allow for formula coding, do graphs, and are free, too. Unfortunately, most of these apps feature formulas of only one variable. In most real life applications, however, mathematical formulas have multiple variables! This app does all of the above plus the following:

* Programs mathematical formulas with up to six variables.
* Is simple to use.
* Plots graphs with respect to a chosen single variable while keeping all other variables fixed.
* Plots graphs when all the variables are changing along a user-prescribed vector. This relatively new concept of "ray plotting" enables user to probe a function in n dimensions by looking at its 1-dimensional slices.
* Does graph tracing and enables graph manipulation with a simple set of intuitive touch gestures instead of button/pop up controls.
* Saves most used formulas along with detailed description for later use.
* Creates tables of calculated results that can be pasted into other applications.
* Has an exhaustive set of help files and tutorials.

## Key features

- Programs formulas with up to six variables
- Plots graphs with variable manipulation
- Ray plotting for n-dimensional functions
- Graph tracing and intuitive touch gestures
- Saves formulas with descriptions
- Creates tables of calculated results
- Includes help files and tutorials

### 5/5 — A very good app, simple and effective. Highly rate

*2024-03-11, version 2.4*

A cry for help in time of need, await relief from Mathematical League
60 days of siege, outnumbered and weak
Sent a message to the sky, decimal places left to die
Will they hold the wall or will the city fall
Dedication
Dedication
They're outnumbered 15 > one
And the battle's begun
Then the Calculator of Formulas arrived
Coming down the mountainside
Then the Calculator of Formulas arrived
Coming down they turned the tide
As the days are passing by and as the dead are piling high
No escape and no salvation
Trenches to explosive halls are buried deep beneath the walls
Plant the charges there and watch the city fear
Desperation
Desperation
It's a desperate race against the mine
And a race against time
Then the Calculator of Formulas arrived
Coming down the mountainside
Then the Calculator of Formulas arrived
Coming down they turned the tide
Cannonballs are coming down from the sky
Integrals, are you ready to die?
We will seek our vengeance eye for an eye
You'll be stopped upon the steps of our gate
On this field you're only facing our hate
But, back home the square root’s sealing your fate
We remember
In September
That's the night Vienna was freed
We made the enemy bleed
Then the Calculator of Formulas arrived
Coming down the mountainside
Then the Calculator of Formulas arrived
Coming down they turned the tide
Storm clouds, fire and steel
Death from above, make their enemy kneel
Shining armour and wings
Death from above, it's an army of kings
We remember
In September
When the Calculator of Formulas arrived

### 3/5 — Good but…

*2022-06-20, version 2.3*

Lots of functionality, this very capable calculator surely ought to be worthy of a higher rating; but a poor choice of font and unimaginative layout make the interface slow and awkward.

Such a shame. It could be so good…

### 5/5 — Race engineer

*2016-07-01*

Awesome app!!!

I build race cars and run race teams for a living so I need to do lots of calculations all the time. I wanted to learn reverse polish notation and be able to program the formulas into memory. I searched for apps and came upon this one. I did not realize how great it was at first, which is a compliment to the author in its simplicity.

The author totally hit the nail on the head. I love this app!!

Now I have lots of calculations at my fingertips, ready to use and play with. When you get used to the way to graph functions in the app and the ability to change any variable and see it in the graphs, you can “see through the forest and actually see the trees”.

I find myself playing with simple everyday relationships, putting them into some kind of mathematical statement and being able to “mix it up” and gain an understanding of something that was easy to miss without the ability to analyze it “fast and easy”.

It would be nice to be able to label the variables. That would make it easier to enter the values. Having to remember which variables are which with different formulas makes it a challenge.

Great job! Great app!

### 1/5 — C-rap

*2015-07-20*

This app tried to re-invent the wheel and it failed horribly. Made zero sense.

### 1/5 — Whatever you, don't press help!!!

*2013-09-12*

In summary, skip this one. There are much better rpn calculator apps out there.

The calculator is very powerful, however if you press the help button, you can forget it. There is absolutely no way to return to the application.

What programmer forgets such a simple thing as a means to return to the application? Was this app not tested? Forget about finding any contact info as this programmer doesn't provide any support. Nothing, nada, zip.

So, you either need to know how to use a powerful rpn calculator or look for an app with programmer support, which is my suggestion.

### 2/5 — Bug found with 4s

*2013-04-17*

There is no way to return to calculator once tutorial is entered. I am using iPhone 4S.
