## What is CalculatorPro?

Your system calculator says 0.1 + 0.2 = 0.30000000000000004.

CalculatorPro doesn't.

Arithmetic runs on exact rational numbers, not floating point. 1 ÷ 3 × 3 is 1. 19.99 × 3 is 59.97. Results that must be approximate — trig, logarithms — are marked with ≈, so you always know which numbers you can copy into a contract.

— Accurate

• Arithmetic, integer powers and decimals: zero error
• 1 ÷ 3 shows its repeating digits with an overline, not a string of 333333
• sin(30°) = 0.5 and sin(180°) = 0, not 1.22e-16
• log(100) = 2 (many calculators give you the natural log, 4.605)
• 200 + 10% = 220, not 200.1

— Calculates as you type

• Live results — no need to press equals
• Parentheses, backspace and percent at hand; edit the expression any time
• Errors underline the exact fragment at fault and explain in plain language

— Nothing gets lost

• Every calculation is kept, with full-text search that stays instant across thousands of entries
• Notes, pinning, and export to CSV / JSON / Markdown
• History stores exact values — reload one in three years and no precision is lost

— Two keypads, swipe to switch

• Basic: a superset of the system calculator — parentheses, backspace, correct percentages
• Scientific: trig, hyperbolics, logs, roots, factorials, modulo, DEG·RAD·GRAD

— Also

• 20 themes; light and dark are chosen independently, including Blueprint, Terminal, Receipt and Neon
• Distinct haptics for digits, operators and equals
• Full hardware keyboard mapping; split layout in landscape on iPad
• Complete VoiceOver support and Dynamic Type
