Bugs are getting annoying. Reduced rating. I've been through quite a few calendar apps and always had to switch back to Apple's built in calendar. I don't find Apple's iOS calendar very useful (poor use of limited screen space, limited view options, etc.) Calendar 366 ticks all the "Pros" and none of the "Cons". 1. It works (nor all paid for competitors do) 2. Battery and network efficient. 3. Very customisable views - easy to tweak. 4. Good use of limited screen space on iPhone 5. Does 90% of what I need but the last 10% is what drives me off the wall. The natural language feature to create invites is unusable and almost seems like it uses Siri logic. I put “Doctors at 3” and sets it to 3am. I then go change it to 3pm manually and it decides to do 3pm to 4am the next day and I have a multi day appointment. This is super frustrating when you are at a doctor’s office trying to put in the appointment quickly. It's easy to use and feels pretty close to a native apple application. Not experienced a bug or sync error at all so far. The attraction of the app for me is the monthly and weekly views which are clear and an improvement on apples calendar app. The task list is a bonus and seems to work well too. I've used a couple of other alternatives including outlook and onecalendar and Calendar 366 is I think more polished. If you want good monthly and weekly views on an iPhone Calendar 366 is probably the one. ### 5/5 — EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED *2024-04-28, version 2.9.4* So I've been looking for a calendar app compatible with my Apple watch that will display my events and reminders all day and not just for a couple hours. Who wants to have to keep looking at your phone when it can just show up on your watch right?? So frustrating! I've tried Apple calender, Google calendar, Pocket Life, Calendar and a few others, none of which did i needed. I ran across Calendar366, reviews were good, so I decided ok, what's a few more bucks. Worth every penny and then some! Took me a few minutes to figure out how to set it up but it works perfect. You can have it show 1-5 days or a week on your Apple watch and it just removes the day as it passes and adds on the next. I think the calendar scrolling could be a little easier but hey, i can deal with that. ITS AN AWESOME APP!! ### 5/5 — Does Everything Well for Modest One-Time Fee *2024-04-28* I tried about about a dozen other calendar apps and this is the best. It makes and shows entries with a minimum of effort. It does everything it promises and more. It’s as customizable as you’d expect but quick and easy to set up. I find “Month | List” is the most useful view on iPhone and “Agenda” is the best on an iPad. It works seamlessly with Google and Apple calendars so I never have to use the ungodly Google Calendar app. And this delightful app charges only a very reasonable one-time fee. Highly recommended! ### 5/5 — Tolle Alternative für den orig. iOs Kalender *2024-04-20* Benutze den Kalender 366 To-Dos auf einem iPad pro 6. gen und dem iphone13pro und bin sehr zufrieden mit der App. Mit das beste daran ist, es ist keine lästige Abo App ! So etwas unterstützte ich grundsätzlich aus Prinzip nicht !! Ich hätte bei diesem tollen Kalender auch kein Problem damit, dem Entwickler nach einem größeren Update nochmal eine angemessene Summe x zukommen zu lassen. Das ist allemal besser als diese gierige Abo-Abzocke !! P.S. Stand 2024 Vom Entwickler würde ich mir noch wünschen, dass beim geöffneten Termin die Notizen Spalte weiter oberhalb eingebunden wird, wenn das möglich ist. So müsste man nicht jedes mal auf dem iphone nach unten Scrollen um den Termin samt Notiz auf einen Blick zu sehen. Way better than fantastical and google calendar! ### 5/5 — Einfach sehr gut *2024-03-27* ich kann den TOP Kalender wirklich nur empfehlen, läuft bei mir auf dem Mac, iPad und iPhone. iCloud sync perfekt schnell, alles beinhaltet was man benötigt mit einer genialen Übersicht und zeitnahen Updates. However, it desperately needs to be updated for iOS 26 because I’m having serious problems with unwanted time zone shifts on appointments and lack of liquid display support. I put in a support request to the developer, but I never received a response back, so that’s why I posted this downgraded review. Please update this app so I can change my rating back to 5-Stars. However, in the ensuing years, the developer has become less and less responsive, and innovation and support have waned. That’s how much of a sheet this app is. I was trying to set the calendars up and it keeps popping the window to the app, however, every time I hit the one star, it would convert to a two star into the third or fourth time. I actually wish I never purchased this app and I should’ve just kept with the native calendar app provided by Apple. I've restarted, un- and re-installed multiple times. --- I really like it, and I got this specifically for a better Apple Watch alternative to Fantastical. I’m looking specifically for a complication to show me just my appointments and reminders for the day, and this is SO CLOSE. But the complication has such large text, and for some reason it shows tomorrow’s tasks (wish this was an option, or smarter - so like, it’d show that just when all of today’s items were complete) AND you only get one word of each item, because the date/time takes up so much room. I know the item is “today”, I don’t need that word taking up half of the screen. If this were refined to show more of what the actual event/reminder was, it would be the best! ### 1/5 — Doh. *2023-02-07, version 2.7.2* The app downloads event dates that I didn’t ask for, or subscribe to, but the app also refuses to let me delete any of them. Also, I still don’t get any choice about whether or not I want to sync my private events with iOS calendar (caldav). It also has the best combined monthly/daily-list view too, and no subscription is required! Note for developer: Realizing it’s a lot of work to keep updating an app without receiving subscription fees, I want to say thanks. In the future I’m sure they’re many existing users that would gladly pay another one-time fee for important updates. :) ### 5/5 — Awesome Calendar *2025-07-30, version 2.11.1* The app is full featured but simple to use. Maintained by a single developer who gets back very quickly if you write with questions, and/or requests. Go searching through the settings, it is more powerful than on first site. I used the app on the ipad and found the button easily. It's gray on white so it's a little rough on old eyes. FYI, it's on the bottom left and then on the bottom left again. Really nice having 2 different options on what displays on the Apple watch - 3 actually if you include just the date. Many notifications sounds, too. Everything works, beautiful, and super responsive. Way better than Fantastical or Readdle. I have one feature request though; that is more colors-or allowing users to manually customize- the themes and background. Currently it’s set it to Red-Blue-dark mix.
