## What is Calendar ToDo?

Turn your calendar events into a progress log you can review later.

Calendar ToDo reads your calendar events and lets you record completion, progress, and reflection inside the app—without creating, editing, or deleting your calendar events.

Because Calendar ToDo works with events shown in Apple’s Calendar app, you can use calendars from iCloud, Google Calendar, Outlook, and other accounts synced to your iPhone.

Tap the Done button on the right to record completion immediately. Touch and hold an event to record progress. You can then select a reflection to save the reflection and completion as well.

Progress is context for reflection and does not mark an event as Done by itself. Events saved as Done appear in the same completion records, graphs, and reports as before.

On supported devices and languages, Apple Intelligence assists on-device event classification and Weekly Report insights. When Apple Intelligence is unavailable, completion, reflection, and category review and correction remain available.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 3.1.1 — 2026-08-31

Improved completion records and the CalToDo experience.

- Improved completion actions, data reloads, and display updates for a more stable experience
- Completion records for the same calendar event are now reflected more reliably across iPhone and iPad
- Completion records are now easier to associate with the same event when event details change

Calendar events remain read-only, and your existing completion history and reflections remain available.

### 3.1.0 — 2026-08-25

Bring today's reflection and your weekly review together in one Analytics tab.
Long-press actions now make it easier to choose progress and reflection using clear colors and icons.

- Switch between Overview and Report to review today's heatmap and reflection alongside analysis of completed weeks
- Keep your selected week and generated observations while moving between sections, so reports are easier to revisit
- Improved the reliability of completion sync, data reloads, reminders, and background updates

Your existing completion history and read-only calendar behavior remain unchanged.

### 3.0.1 — 2026-08-17

Improved multi-day events and long-press interactions.

- After completing the remaining days of a multi-day event, you can now add progress and reflection from the same long-press menu.
- Adding reflection to an already completed event now preserves the original completion record.
- Improved the stability of the UI after closing the long-press menu on iPhone, as well as VoiceOver interactions.

I also stabilized the UI after dismissing the hover preview in a medium sheet on iPhone in portrait mode! It was a tough one because the cause was hard to track down.

### 3.0.0 — 2026-08-12

Apple Intelligence support. Event classification and the way you record and reflect on plans have been improved.

- On supported devices and languages, Apple Intelligence assists on-device event classification and Weekly Report insights
- Review and correct each event’s category from event details
- Touch and hold an event to move from Progress to Reflection, then save progress, reflection, and completion together
- Keep using the Done button on the right when you want one-tap completion
- Explore category distribution, recurring-event trends, and personal patterns in event details and Weekly Reports
- See Schedule Load, To record, and Review more clearly on CalToDo’s updated today card
- See adjacent completed dates in a multi-day monthly event as one continuous completion band
- Updated the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy to cover progress, reflection, classification, and on-device Apple Intelligence processing

When Apple Intelligence is unavailable, completion, reflection, and category review and correction remain available.

### 2.6.2 — 2026-08-03

Version 2.6.2 makes CalToDo's daily progress easier to scan.

- See Schedule Load, Remaining, and Review as a short summary with a supporting number
- Get clearer states for empty days, partial progress, and events that ended without a record
- Open related details directly from the Remaining and Review cards
- Keep the progress graph and cards stable after recording completion

This update makes it easier to check today's plan and move naturally into recording or reflection.
