### 2/5 — Useful but buggy

*2015-01-11*

This app solves the problem of how to copy and paste an event on the Calendar, which Apple's built-in app incredibly does not support. However, the app search function causes the app to crash. Sigh.

### 2/5 — Does not make recurrance

*2012-12-31*

This program claimed to fix the bug of having an oddball recurrence (like wanting a task to happen every 3 weeks). Well the plan was easy enough to follow but the task would disappear on the calendar once it was edited. Very frustrating. If anyone can tell me what I'm doing wrong, please let me know.

### 1/5 — Nul !!!!!

*2012-07-06*

Attention ! Grosse arnaque !!!!
N'apporte vraiment rien de pratique au calendrier déjà installé. Ne gère même pas le mode paysage correctement !

À éviter absolument !!!!!!!!

### 1/5 — Awful App

*2012-07-02*

Burn your money before buying this app. Awful app. Since purchasing, my entire calendar has been wiped out, there are no "custom features" even visible without going through massive gyrations. Tech support actually answered an email but failed to answer my question about custom recurrence, how to filter events and more....all they did was explain how to close the app from the multitask bar. Really?

Anyway, save your cash and avoid this app.

### 1/5 — Waste of time and money!

*2012-06-05*

This app is AWFUL!!! Don't be duped. All I needed was to be able to copy an event from one date to the next as recurring events continue over time but not on regular days. I wasted $6 on this app where you have to count out how many days the event is in the future, instead of just picking the stupid date! My events are always 30 to 60 days at a time, so I may as well spend my time creating a new event rather than count days and trust my math is right. A COMPLETE WASTE!!!!!

### 4/5 — Mr.

*2012-05-03*

Had a bit of trouble at first but support was very helpful. They got me going with clear instructions which included screenshots after 3 email exchanges. They appreciated my suggestions on how to make instructions clear and said they are working on it. After learning to navigate the app it is really helpful and is all it says it is. With clearer instructions I would give it 5 stars.

### 1/5 — Don't Buy

*2012-04-17, version 1.1*

This app does NOT do complex recurring events

### 1/5 — Did not get what I over payed for

*2012-04-08*

I paid the full price. All I wanted was an app that removed duplicate calendar events the app does not have that option. In my opinion that is false advertising. Waste of money!!!

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2012-04-06*

...expensive garbage

### 1/5 — Calender

*2012-03-05*

Multiple events do not erase that easily . Trouble erasing events, selected events to be erased remain as is . 3 contact with app support no answer still. Don't bother a rip off.

### 1/5 — Limited

*2012-02-14*

App does let you custom create repeating events but will not give you access to all events as it claims. The app only gives you access to events of the current month which is very limiting.

### 1/5 — Don't buy!

*2012-02-07*

First time I've ever left a review, but was so disappointed I felt i had to warn anyone considering buying! Purchased this app to enable me to copy/paste my work roster dates onto my iPad/iPhone diary, which syncs over iCloud. I have an old mac, with snow leopard, which won't sync over iCloud and thought this would be a good workaround rather than purchase OSX Lion. However, whilst you can copy/paste, you cannot paste on a future date, only on X days in advance/ arrears of date copied from! What use is that, have to count days from one date to another, often different months, takes twice as long, and even then not all information copied across (ie all day event). Interface is not user friendly, instructions very limited. Have asked for refund although not holding out much hope. Don't waste your money!

### 1/5 — Kaum brauchbar und zu teuer

*2012-01-10*

### 1/5 — Poor App

*2011-11-27*

This app does not do what it claims. It changes dates of your appointments and puts them into your calendar at what appears to be random places.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Crashes on iPhone

*2017-03-06*

Was great. What happened? Cannot open any longer.

### 1/5 — Crashes on iPad

*2016-08-03, version 2.1*

Fails to load correctly on iPad.

### 1/5 — Wasted my money! UGH!

*2015-02-06*

Wasted my time too, trying to figure out how it works! Plus it charged me for purchase twice! Beware!!! I saw some mixed reviews. Perhaps some people have emailed & received instructions from the developer, but if it's that difficult to figure out, it's really not useable.

### 1/5 — Worthless!

*2013-08-30, version 1.7*

A complete waste of money!! I want a refund!! Won't do anything it says its supposed to do!

### 1/5 — Very awkward

*2013-02-23*

Very awkward to use but most importantly some recurring events don't get copied between devices via the cloud. Don't waste your time or money.

### 1/5 — This app does not work at all

*2013-02-17*

From what I can tell, the app takes over the "repeat" function from iCal. If you attempt to set up a customized repeat in Calendar Tools, then the repeat function is no longer visible from i Cal.

The home screen on Calendar Tools lists "events" by date that are taken from iCal. You can filter them according to date or event. You can see either see appointments according to days between two dates you specify, or you can see them according to the type ("x meeting").

From the home screen, you can click on an event ("x" meeting) and then add a "custom recurrence". You can specify 3rd Tuesday of the month; 2nd Friday of the month on a repeat daily/weekly/monthly basis. However, when you click "Done" nothing happens, so you cannot save the custom repeat. In effect, the very feature for which you buy this app does not function.

Also, the app states in the FAQ that you can either add an event in iCal or in Calendar Tools with custom repeats. This is inaccurate on both accounts. If you open up iCal, you get the standard repeat options that comes with it (none, daily, weekly, 2 weeks, monthly, or yearly). If you open up Calendar Tools to add an event, you get the exact same options - no customizable repeats as advertised.

In short, this app is a waste of money - it does not do what it is advertised to do. Don't buy it.

I put in a request to Appiplayer to refund my money. If they are at all reputable and refund my money, or make the fixes to make this app functional the way it is advertised, I will add their response to my review and report the outcome. It's such a crazy thing that getting customized repeats is such an elusive function when it is available so readily on other platforms. Frustrated.

### 1/5 — Useless app

*2013-01-23*

When u install it- it announces it can't connect to inbuilt calendar; so all u get is useless app that creates double the work for you :(. The week view doesn't work, neither does the month view, all u get it this continuous long list that you cant separate :((( if u try to get help & u click on help button-- NOTHING happens...there is NO HELP; user guide is pathetic :((( don't waste your money!

### 1/5 — Arnaque totale ! !

*2012-12-03*

### 1/5 — Crashes

*2012-11-17*

Bought this app to customize recurring events. DOES NOT WORK. Crashes every time.

### 1/5 — Bad investment

*2012-08-29*

1. The program does not work well at all.
2. The alerts do not work consistently, sometimes no notification at all.
3. The program crashes frequently in the middle of making an event.
4. The support is really really really bad, they send a standard pic from there web site on how to use the program that is very vague and does not address your issue.
5. At the price they are asking there should be no bugs and have atleast half descent support.
6. No help file or troubleshooting area on the web site.

I am writing this review because I have had nothing but problems with this program from day one. I have contacted support several times with no satisfaction. Also this program does not work within the calendar you have to use it seperatly. I feel very ripped off.

Buyer beware, in my opinion.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

Since the latest update, everything works perfectly except search. It crashes when you search for an event. I give it 5 stars, because I know they will fix this like all previous versions

It allows to schedule multiple alarms for appointments.

### 5/5 — Brilliant App

### 5/5 — Wow!

### 5/5 — Great App

*2011-11-21*

With this app, I can create repeating events on the 2nd Monday of every other month. Awesome job!

### 5/5 — Love this program

*2011-08-05*

I migrated from a Compaq iPAQ 2200 series to an iPOD Touch as a PDA and handheld computer. The calendar and a PPC program called Calendar + allowed me to do complex repeats (e.g. 3rd Thursday of each month). When I got to the iPOD's calendar and found that I couldn't do that I was really disappointed. Enter Calendar Tools. It does everything I could do on the iPAQ.

The author(s) say that this is an add-on to the native calendar app. I'm glad of this; I find the views in the native app better than the views in Calendar Tools. Just my taste there. I also like that I can switch back and forth between them for certain kinds of tasks and know that my data will be accessable in both.

Beyond the possibility of complex recurrences, there is another function that I love in Calendar Tools: I can look up appointments alphabetically. If I know that I shceduled a meeting with John Smith but can't remember the date, I can look up "John Smith meeting." That was something I couldn't do before.

The most confusing thing I found was in setting up a complex recurrence: when the event is initially set, you are given the choice of somekind of simple recurrence or no recurrence. You need to choose somekind of simple recurrence, finish the event and then choose that event, tap on the box on the upper right of the main screen screen and edit the recurrence to a custom recurrence. It took me about 15 minutes to figure that one out.

That being said, the learning curve isn't that steep and the functionality is worth it. I heartily reccomend this app.

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2011-07-28*

Initially I thought it didn't do as stated (customized repeat feature) But in less then 30 seconds I figured it out. Love the the fact that it works with the iPad calendar and alarm. As soon as I opened it all my appointments appeared.

### 5/5 — Time Saver

*2011-06-15*

I have been using my mac to setup custom repeat rules and then sync to my iPad. With this tools, I can do it on my iPad. It becomes more convenient to use the native calendar.

### 5/5 — No good, don't waste your $

*2011-06-15*

This app is not useful. Does not do what it says. No guide at website. Does not work with iPad calendar. Wish I could get a refund
