As a former Android user, this widget is nearly perfect. There are just a few small graphical bugs that get in the way. Going to email the developer to let them know.

Been looking for this for a while and this is the one well worth the price.

(1 thing I would like is days and date fonts slightly bigger so can see them better)

given full permission; checked ALL calendars and settings; restarted device; reinstalled app.. 
*nothing* works. whole widget remains blank, the background image feature doesn’t work either. the whole thing is nonfunctional.

A blank widget is definitely not what we want you to experience.

Make sure all the calendars you want to see are toggled on within the Mocalendar app's settings. Sometimes, if no calendars are selected for display, the widget can appear blank.

I prefer Google calendar but missed the excellent Android widgets after moving to iPhone. Found this widget recommended on Reddit and it is a great way to view a whole month, open days within the widget, and some other options. 
I do wish the colors matched google calendar event colors and that tapping the widget opened your selected calendar immediately rather than showing the MoCalendar app momentarily.

Purchased app, realized it won’t meet my needs, tried to return, won’t allow me to.

**Developer response:** Thank you for contacting us regarding a refund for MoCalendar. We understand you're having trouble with the refund process, and we're sorry to hear that the app isn't meeting your needs.

Unfortunately, all refunds and returns for apps purchased on the App Store are handled directly by Apple.  We as developers do not have access to process or manage these requests.
